From former guest, Sarah of Tulsa, Okla: 'We scheduled a family vacation prior to my brother leaving for Iraq. This house was everything we could have asked for and more. Every detail has been taken care of, and with great thought into the newest styles. Having the option to prepare a meal or go out was also a plus, and the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, plates, pans, etc. Also, the house may look small but it is anything but. We had 6-7 people there and with the tri-levels and separation, you have all the privacy you wish. The beds were oh so comfortable, and the house was clean, clean, clean. Will definitely use this house again if up that way in the future.'

About The Owner

I fell in love with Table Rock lake on my first visit in 1991. Originally, I purchased a lake view house. I sold it to buy this beautiful lake front gem in 2008. I love spending time here. It is a great place to take a deep breath, relax & unwind. We not only spend quality time with family & friends at the house, but love to get out on the water to ski, wakeboard, wake skate, surf, swim or watch the fireworks on the 4th of July.

The Owner purchased this house in 2008

Why The Owner chose Table Rock Lake

When I first looked at buying the house, the brook next to the house was babbling & I immediately fell in love with it. The lake view house I had before this one, was much further from town. I love the convenience of being 1 mile from the groceries, restaurants & shops. It's an easy, quick run to the store for milk or some other forgotten item. Plus, the local restaurants are also within a mile or two. Meanwhile, it's only 3 miles to Pilot Knob conservation for a walk through the woods.

What makes this house unique

Feels remote & secluded, yet only 1 mile from Shell Knob groceries, liquor store & restaurants. Wonderful view. Lots of hummingbirds! It's so peaceful! Really enjoy the serenity of the Ozarks while being lakefront, lounging on the deck.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Hi Judy.

I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us last week. We had an absolutely wonderful time!! In the evenings after dinner, we sat on the deck enjoying the fresh air and my husband and the kids went down to the dock one evening to fish. We spent a lot of time on the lake and the folks at Kings River Marina were very friendly and accommodating. Everyone agreed we should plan to go back every year!!

Thank you so much!

Everything was as represented. Would recommend this location to anyone. It was nice to be able to sit on the deck, listen to the brook, watch the hummingbirds and relax. We would definitely rent this location again.

Family getaway

  • 5 of 5

Just stayed at this home a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it... It fit our family of 10 perfectly and we had no complaints at all. We loved the location and were so pleased that we could bring our boat and keep it docked right there by the house with no extra charge! The house was well furnished and was very clean. We will definitely be staying there again next year!

Great place and location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Hidden Cover Hideout for 4 nights in late May with 2 families. The house was beautiful. We had plenty of room. We did a lot of fishing and I feel the location on the lake for fishing was fantastic. It was nice that the house was right there in Shell Knob, close to restaurants and stores. Judy was great to work with.

If we come back to Table Rock lake we will want to stay here again.

Wonderful get away!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed this house. A group of 3 couples went. On the Saturday the guys went fishing and the girls drove down to nearby Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The house is gorgeous inside and out. It was a little bit of a walk to the water, as the house is "creek adjacent" and not water front, but it was so peaceful and quiet there it was worth it. We slept so great there as it was pitch black. We walked up to the little bar across the highway "Roadhouse" and had some fun with the locals. The grocery store is very close, and has amazing salsa. Hopefully will get a chance to return to this adorable house!

Owner's Response: So glad you enjoyed your stay Michelle! The house actually is considered to be lakefront, as it is adjacent to the setback off the lake required by the Corp of Engineers. It is a different layout in relation to the water than one might consider to be traditional. As you said, I find it is so peaceful & relaxing. I also enjoy the gorgeous house & view of the water. I always find it worth the trip. I hope you are able to return again soon. Thanks for visiting Hidden Cove Hideout! ?
