From former guest, Sarah of Tulsa, Okla: 'We scheduled a family vacation prior to my brother leaving for Iraq. This house was everything we could have asked for and more. Every detail has been taken care of, and with great thought into the newest styles. Having the option to prepare a meal or go out was also a plus, and the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, plates, pans, etc. Also, the house may look small but it is anything but. We had 6-7 people there and with the tri-levels and separation, you have all the privacy you wish. The beds were oh so comfortable, and the house was clean, clean, clean. Will definitely use this house again if up that way in the future.'

I fell in love with Table Rock lake on my first visit in 1991. Originally, I purchased a lake view house. I sold it to buy this beautiful lake front gem in 2008. We love spending time here. It is a great place to take a deep breath, relax & unwind. We not only spend quality time with family & friends at the house, but love to get out on the water to ski, wakeboard, wake skate, surf, swim or watch the fireworks on the 4th of July.
Owner purchased this House in 2008
Why Owner chose White River Township
When I first looked at buying the house, the brook next to the house was babbling & I immediately fell in love with it. The lake view house I had before this one, was much further from town. I love the convenience of being 1 mile from the grocery store, restaurants & shops. It's an easy, quick run to the store for milk or some other forgotten item. Plus, the local restaurants are also within a mile or two. Meanwhile, it's only 3 miles to Pilot Knob conservation for a walk through the woods.
What makes this House unique
Feels remote, yet only 1 mile from Shell Knob groceries, liquor store & restaurants. Wonderful view. Lots of hummingbirds! It's so peaceful! Really enjoy the serenity of the Ozarks while being lakefront, lounging on the deck.

Lovely place -- Highly recommended.
In a word -- Lovely! We took a youth group of teenage girls here in November as a reward. Teenagers are notoriously hard to please, but all of the girls couldn't have been more excited about this house. It is beautifully decorated and meticulously clean. We used the kitchen to prepare several meals and found all the pans and utensils we needed. There was plenty of room, and we all slept comfortably. The main floor living area was perfect for games and relaxing together.
The owners were helpful and friendly. The house was easy to find with Google Maps (or with the map the owners provided). We had a lovely weekend in a lovely house.
Thank you for the fantastic review Sarah! So glad to hear everyone was comfortable & had a lovely time! Hope y'all can visit again!
Spacious with 9 Guests, Quick Access to Town, Peaceful
Our group had a terrific time at Hidden Cove Hideout. Judy was great to work with and is very helpful and accommodating. The home was perfectly cleaned when we arrived and has a fully equipped kitchen. We were able to cook all weekend for the group without bringing additional pots/pans/cookware. Water from the tap was clean and clear and we were able to use that instead of bottled water the entire time.
Shell Knob is only minutes away which made our grocery trips a breeze. It rained one morning while we were there and we were able to sit on the covered porch and enjoy it without getting wet.
There are several parks in the area and we were able to go and enjoy some yard games in the shade less than 10 minutes away from the cabin. This rental is a great value and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a place to stay with a group. When we initially made the reservation, I was under the impression that there was only one restroom - there are two. One is on the main floor and one is in the basement. The showers are over sized and the water pressure is great!
Note: For some, "lakefront" might be a slight exaggeration. The water behind this particular property is limited to a 4-6 foot wide stream that is probably more prominent when the lake water is higher. To be slightly more accurate, this property backs up to a nice section of woods and a hill.
Glad you had a terrific visit & thank you for the glowing review Ryan!
Although you might not be familiar with how lakefront is determined, Hidden Cove Hideout truly is lakefront property, with a rather pleasant view of the cove. The Corp of Eng controls the first 50 ft of the perimeter of the lake & all property that adjoins that perimeter, as Hidden Cove Hideout does, is considered to be lakefront. Although maybe not your expectation, lake front terrain around Table Rock varies greatly from: gentle walk down to cliff drop off, no view to panoramic view, making each lake front property unique unto itself, So, every location has it's own unique, personal charm & characteristics. Meanwhile, hope you have an opportunity to enjoy visiting again in the future.
Absolutely wonderful property! Secluded yet so close to town if you need anything.
This place is amazing! It was everything we could have asked for. Seriously, we could not have booked a better place and none of us have stopped talking about what a great time we had, and our trip was two weeks ago! What a wonderful bonding experience for family and friends. No one was even on their phones! Yay!! It was so hard to even pack up and go home. We are already planning on trying to go back in the very near future if they will have us! The cabin was three levels and had more than enough room for everyone to gather together or have some privacy. They really provided almost everything you would have or need at home. The home was very clean and updated. It was a little difficult to get down to the water but we managed just fine! The deck was lovely to have morning coffee or time to relax at the end of the day. Last but not least, the owner is exceptionally nice. She was very pleasant, accommodating, and just overall great to interact with. What a blessing for them to share such a beautiful home with others.
Great, clean, well appointed.
The property can be tricky to find in the dark, but if you contact the owner prior to arriving that can be mitigated. The lake is lovely, the view from the deck is wonderful. The only issue we had was the wifi was very grumpy but that just forced conversation and play (coincidence? I think not). The owner seemed to be a wonderful person and truly seems to love sharing her blessing. Plenty of attractions nearby and if you plan to hit the water I highly recommend Campbell Point Arena. While pricey it is by far the nicest marina I've ever used. The owners there are great as well.
Thank you so much for the fabulous & complimentary review!
Also glad we were able to talk before your arrival so there would not be an issue with you finding the house after dark! Meanwhile, you are absolutely spot on with your assessment of our love of sharing the house with others that appreciate it - it truly has been a blessing.
Thanks again & hope you are able to visit again!
Super Nice Place! Judy and Dan are super nice and accommodating. Along with the superior quality of this home, I was impressed with all the supplies provided. The beds were very comfortable also. We hope to return to the home each yr. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful home with us!
