Family friendly location. Ride your bike through 11 beach communities consisting of 18.5 miles of bike and walking/jogging trails along 30A. Access to 2 community pools, tennis court and playground. Bike or walk to nearby restaurants and shopping. 11 coastal dune lakes known by kayaking and canoeing enthusiasts for their beauty and tranquility.

Open floorplan with wraparound kitchen bar to the living room. Seating for 10 in dining room, bar area. Jack and Jill bathroom between two first floor bedrooms consisting of a queen bed and bunk beds (full/twin) on first floor. Large master bedroom on second floor which opens to wraparound balcony. Fell in love the minute we drove into Grove by the Sea - peaceful, family-oriented neighborhood, beautiful beaches, gorgeous sunsets, bike trails and easy access to restaurants, shopping, and art galleries. We also enjoy all the natual foliage of the neighborhood - tall pine trees, palm trees and beautiful magnolia trees - all just a 1/2 mile walk to the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

What makes this house unique

Our family enjoys spending most of the time on the beach - taking long walks, playing beach games, watching sunsets. We love biking on the 18 miles along 30A and to the new restaurants and shops.

Family first visit to Seagrove and loved it. Thank you for a beautiful home that was perfect for our family of four. Our kids (5 yrs and 3 yrs) loved the beach and community pools. We created lots of memories and looking forward to coming back next year.

Love the place!!

I have stayed here before with my family and I was here solo this last time and it was great! The location can't be any better!! The neighborhood is beautiful! The beach is minutes away and beautiful! I brought my Moped with me and it was the best thing! The Owner of the property was so helpful! I will come back again!!

Cannot beat location and the charm of the neighborhood!

Great space in the house. Adored the front porch for morning reading time. Only small negative: there are no spices in the kitchen. First home that we've rented that didn't have the basics. Not a big deal but just important to know when grocery shopping. Would definitely love to stay at this property again!

Wonderful time in a great home and location!

It was a splendid time! I would highly recommend this home and its location. We had 8 people and it served us well. Its close to the beach. The floor plan is good. Its a nice open plan and works well in a beach area. We loved the screened porch and used it all the time.

There are two community pools at a close walk. There are plenty of restaurants, etc to visit nearby. The beach is beautiful there and was not crowded in mid July. There is a real safe, family feel to this area, without being so crowded like many other areas nearby. I had some dealings directly with the owner as well and he was courteous, attentive and kind! I looked at many homes ahead of time and this one fit the bill for us perfectly. We would love to be there again one day.

Home away from home!

Had an initial hiccup with the property management company, which was IMMEDIATELY resolved by the owners once it was brought to their attention. We have stayed at several different beach rentals over the years but none compare to this property or the owners.. We were so impressed by the pride the owners take in this property and the attention to detail to ensure the comfort of their guests.

Major perks include washer/dryer , dishwasher, brand new refrigerator , comfortable mattresses, outdoor shower, 2 full baths and a large screened in wrap around porch (great for relaxing with a nice bottle of wine) and access to 2 very nice swimming pools.. My only recommendation would be to switch the coffee pot to one with auto shut off. I/we highly recommend this property as a comfortable home away from home.

PS eat at the Chanticleer Eatery, best lunch menu ever.

So much potential...

When we first pulled up, we were very excited. The place looked great as we dropped out things off before heading to dinner.

The good = The house is located in a very cute, very quiet little neighborhood right outside of Seaside. You can walk to Seaside. You can also walk right across 30-A to a beach access, which was Not crowded, absolutely beautiful, perfectly clean and soft sand, and beautiful homes to view. The water is beautiful and sunsets stunning. The neighborhood pool was well maintained. There are plenty of lounge chairs.

The size of the home is very comfortable. There are two bedrooms downstairs. One has bunk beds. The other has a FULL sized bed, not a queen. The bathroom between the two has plenty of space and double sinks. The upstairs bedroom is huge. The bathroom is adequate. The beds were all comfortable.

The bad = When we returned and really started settling in, many things were not cleaned. There was something smeared all on the first bar stool, and on a few kitchen drawers. The couches and chairs had stains all over them. The carpet in the upstairs room had many spots that were cut? The closet door upstairs has a hole in it. There are many nasty looking spots in the upstairs bathroom that need caulking. We needed to plung the upstairs toilet and quickly found out that the previous person to use the plunger, did NOT clean it. We almost vomited bc the plunger is stored under the bathroom sink, next to the towels. There was a brown ring left on the cabinet when we picked it up.

There was a good bit of dust on most of the furniture in the house. After about five minutes of walking with socks on, my dad noticed that the bottom of his white socks, were getting dark from the floors not being cleaned well. (this was the first day we arrived, not days later) The furniture outside has mildew all over it. I understand humidity. I live in Louisiana. Things still need to be cleaned. I didn't want to touch any door in the house, any handle, any knob, or any framing around doors bc they looked horrible. The doors to the outside had trouble opening and closing. What does the cleaning fee apply to? Sweeping, unloading the dish washer and changing towels and sheets? I do expect a place to be clean when I get to a rental property. There were multiple occasions where we found roaches and spiders.

Hire a good cleaning and pest control company, make some cosmetic fixes and I think this place could really shine.
