Welcome to Mediterranea of Destin! A beautiful gated community with seven acres of manicured and spacious grounds; huge pool and outdoor hot tub; private beach with private gazebo; private tennis court and outdoor grill area.

My unit is a 2 Bedroom, 2.5 Bath, and located on the first floor (which is elevated) with private balcony and steps to the pool and beach. The main living area is completely tiled with two full size sofas, one pulling out to a queen sleeper. Both bedrooms have berber carpet and one queen size bed. Full size kitchen with all major appliances including washer and dryer and dishwasher. All rooms have TV/DVD/CD players. Each room has spacious closets. The master has a jetted garden tub and walk in shower.

Sitting right on Scenic Highway 98, there are unobstructed views of the gulf and no need to drive to dinner - you're right across the street from renowned Pompano Joe's restaurant so you can eat with a front seat viewing the gulf. Also, within walking distance, is Whales Tail, Surf Hut, Kenny D's, and Dave's. This is a great walk on the sidewalks viewing the gulf!

Silver Sands Factory Outlet Shops, Winn-Dixie, Chick-fil-A, Five Guys, Starbucks, and McDonald's within minutes by car or can be walked/jogged via the sidewalk trails on Old. Hwy 98. Also, a new Thai, Chinese, and Mexican restaurant are within walking distance. Destin Commons (movie theatre, Bass Pro, Hard Rock Cafe, Dillards, Johnny Rockets, Uncle Buck's Fish Bowl, World of Beer and much more) is a 5 minute drive.

Completed in 2003 and built using concrete and steel construction. Only four living floors. Of the 55 units, only 19 are rental. Underground parking is assigned. Each bedroom has private walkout balcony.

I am the original owner of this unit and my primary residence is in Marietta, GA where I work for a software technology company in a marketing role. I love the Mediterranea community and look forward to sharing the unit with my guests.

Unit is elevated with the underground parking garage which gives the first level units private steps to the pool and over to the Gulf. All rooms have a view of the Gulf.

  • Master Bedroom has a jetted tub and a walk-in shower. Double sink vanity with another separate vanity table and mirror on opposite side. Toilet is adjoined with privacy door. Guest Bedroom has a shower/tub with privacy window in a faux stained glass decor. Single sink vanity.

  • The master bedroom has a comfortable pillow top Queen size bed and the guest bedroom has a Queen as well. The living room has (1) one Queen sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress topper stored in the closet. Both rooms are spacious - enough for a baby crib or blow up mattress. Each has sliding glass door to the outside wrap-around tiled patio looking out to pool and gulf views.

Living room has two leather sofas, one with a queen sleeper. All cotton quilts and shams on beds with blankets in closets. TV's are flat screens with blu-ray player in living room. Dedicated wi-fi in unit.

Excellent clean, convenient and safe getaway

Ground floor unit had everything we needed for a family of four to get away from the cold northern weather during Christmas/New Years break! Quiet gated community, underground parking, convenient stairs and elevator, walk directly out to the pool and then out to beach. Took day trips to Harbor Walk, Baytowne, Seaside. The unit has washer/dryer, full kitchen, 2-1/2 baths. Excellent trip, we will return. Thank you Mary Ann!

We were very happy with this condo: location was so convenient to the pool and to the beach, kitchen was fully equipped, very clean. We love to cook and I was very happy to find everything that I need it in your kitchen. Since this was our first time in Destin Florida we feel that we got very lucky to have such a great place because there were so many places that you could stay but Mediterranea was perfect. My kids made lots of friends and already planning to go next year they liked it so much. We definitely recommend this condo and would be happy to go back . The owner Mary Ann was very helpful .

Awesome Condo

We loved this condo, it is so comfortable and cozy. The pictures do not do this condo justice. Love the ground floor. You would not think so but the view of the ocean is fabulous. Loved being so close to the pool.

Highly recommend this property

I was so pleased with my stay at this condo. It was everything advertised, and exceeded my expectations. The pictures are accurate, and the place was clean and in excellent shape. The view was outstanding, and the location is convenient to pretty much anything you might want to do. Morning coffee on the balcony/patio with my daughter was a daily highlight. The owner & management company were friendly and helpful and made the check in & payment procedures a breeze. I would recommend this property to anyone without hesitation. I hope to stay here again myself!!

Best condo in Destin!!!

We have stayed here for the past 3 summers and even got married on the beach of the Mediterranea! We will never stay anywhere else in Destin! The grounds are absolutely beautiful and it is so close to all of the best beach front restaurants.

Age Restriction: Families welcome. Young adults must be 25 years of age or older unless otherwise approved by owner.

PETS - Rental guests are not allowed to bring their wonderful family pets to Mediterranea. If you feel strongly that you need to bring your pet and it is discovered by our on-site property manager or third party property management company, you will be charged an additional clean fee and fumigation fee if appropriate. Thank you for caring for my unit.

SMOKING - Mediterranea is a non-smoking community. We realize you're on vacation. Please enjoy your smokes out on the patio. If the unit smells of smoke when you vacate the unit, guest renter will be charged an additional cleaning fee.

Summer Season: Only accept 7 night stay (Saturday to Saturday) during peak season.
Owner will establish a waiting list for guests wanting to stay less than 7 nights.

Snowbird Rates: Contact Owner

Rental deposit of $300 is required. Final payment is required 30 days prior to arrival. If not using a credit card, cashiers check is acceptable w/final paid 3 days prior to arrival.

A $200 damage deposit is required and is refundable. If paying by cash or check, the check will be cashed and put into an escrow account and returned within 30 days of departure if no damages have occurred.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 7 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
