Our beautiful townhouse condo is located in Spanish Trace Ocean Club Condominiums, a gated community on Anastasia Island, directly on St. Augustine Beach. You'll have views of the ocean from every room.

The beach is a few steps away, with its beautiful sugar sand for building sandcastles or just laying around and watching the surf roll in. Enjoy falling asleep to the sound of the ocean? This is the place for you.

There is an extra-large beautiful pool, with plenty of lounge chairs, tables, and umbrellas. There are some great restaurants within walking distance, including the World Famous Oasis. We also now have WiFi for your convenience, if you want to keep in touch with the real world, instead of staying totally in paradise!

We often run last-minute 'specials' and have great rates for the spring and fall. Don't forget to check us out regularly for the latest rates.

We are only: 50 miles to Daytona Beach, 100 miles to Orlando, and 40 miles to Jacksonville

Enjoy the amusement parks with the kids during the day but come back to the relaxation that St. Augustine has to offer, away from the rat race.

In St. Augustine there are unlimited activities and things to do. Enjoy the Alligator Farm, Ripley's Believe It or Not, The Ponce de Leon Fountain of Youth, Castillo de San Marcos, St. Augustine Old Jail, Potter's Wax Museum, and Fort Matanzas. Tour the Hotel Ponce de Leon, a National Historic Landmark famous for its Tiffany windows, ornate murals, and Spanish-Renaissance architecture, which is now the home of Flagler College.

Take a tour of the San Sebastian Winery, the Lightner Museum, and St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum. Take a day or evening to go deep-sea fishing, enjoy a scenic cruise, or brave the ghost tours.

Take a horse-carriage ride or ride the trolley around the beautiful downtown area.

World Golf Village is only minutes to the north with its two beautiful golf courses – The King and the Bear and the Slammer and the Squire. It is also home to the World Golf Hall of Fame, an IMAX movie theater, and official PGA Tour stop shop.

Marineland is only minutes to the south and is the oldest oceanarium. Make sure you plan on swimming with the dolphins.

St. George Street and Historic Downtown have some of the best shopping in St. Augustine. St. George Street is a three-block foot-traffic only street downtown, which has hundreds of unique shops and fabulous cuisine.

About Terri Zimmerman

Dave and I have been married 40 years. We were both born and raised in Michigan. Lucky for Dave, he is retired. I continue to work as a court reporter in Michigan, because I just absolutely love my job. One of our favorite things to do is travel and play golf.

Terri Zimmerman purchased this condo in 2008

Why Terri Zimmerman chose Florida North East

We are totally in love with St. Augustine. We first came here in 1993 with two other couples. We were going to the Daytona 500 and decided to stay in St. Augustine, away from the rat race.

The town fit just like a glove for our personalities. We have stayed here every winter, for at least part of it, ever since.

We decided to purchase our condo in 2008 because the timing was right. We have not regreted one minute of it. It is easy enough for us to hop in the car, drive 20 hours, and we are there.

Of course, once you hit town, you just feel like you are on vacation every minute of every day.

We are only 1 1/2 hours from Orlando, where you can get involved in all the theme parks, but yet close enough to drive home at night to the beautiful sound of the ocean.

What makes this condo unique

We enjoy the golf courses around the area. There are plenty to choose from. Since we are right on the beach, it's easy enough to just take a stroll on the beach for a cup of coffee or glass of wine at a few of the local restaurants and bars.

We have met the most fabulous people while spending time here. The kids at Flagler College are some of the most friendly we have ever met, as well as those we have met on the golf course or local restaurants.

There is everything and nothing to do here. You can completely relax for the day at the condo and enjoy the sounds of the beach, or you can go downtown and find something you've never done before. There's always something happening, if you want to be part of it.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Excellent location right at beach with easy beach access! Unit owner was friendly and complex manager was friendly and efficient. Several restaurants and stores close by. Just a few minutes from historic downtown St. Augustine. Would definitely stay here again when returning to St. Augustine.

Best Location

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in this condo several times now and it gets better and better. The location, a two minute walk to the beach can't be beat. The condo itself is very nice, a great view from the deck, everything you need in the kitchen, very roomy overall.

It's about a 10 minute drive into Old St. Augustine. But there is a good sports bar at the end of the road, and about 2 minutes to the supermarket.

Believe me you will not go wrong with this condo.

Beach getaway

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed the cleanliness and cheerfulness of this Condo. It was very comfortable. We even had guests come stay with us on Sat & Sun. I loved the view from the balcony and the pictures are correct. The owners have been a pleasure to work with! Unfortunately I was injured but Found It easy to deal with in the condo. I just stayed downstairs. We will definitely return to explore what we did not on this trip!

Relaxing Vacation

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful relaxing vacation at Spanish Trace. Even though we have a pool at home, my two boys really enjoyed the size of the pool at the complex. I loved sitting on the balcony every morning overlooking the serene pool while watching the sun rise over the ocean. My husband enjoyed being able to sleep because the beds were comfotable and it was always so quiet. We actually reside on the east coast of Florida, and we love St. Augustine Beach so the condo was a great location for us. The complex is quiet and clean, and we had no issues with parking. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk to the water from the complex. All of the stores we needed were close by with the outlet mall about 20 minutes away. We also made the short drive to historical St. Augustine several times since there are so many restaurants and so much to do. The condo was spacious and clean with plenty of room for all 4 of us. The kitchen was well equipped for dining in, and the condo seemed to have everything we needed. Plenty of towels, books to read, games to play, beach toys, and the list goes on and on. The owner of the condo was absolutely great. They were very easy to get in touch with and always helpful. The A/C had some problems about 5 days into our trip, and living in FL, I assumed there would be no way to get it working correctly again before we left. The owner completely proved me wrong. The A/C was fixed within about 4 hours of calling. I was overjoyed. I would definetely recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your kind review. We are so thrilled that you enjoyed your vacation. Things can happen, and you were so kind and patient when the A/C went out on you. We were so happy to get it up and running immediately for you. Thanks for understanding and thanks for immediately letting us know. If we don't receive a call, we have no idea what's going on. And our goal is to try to make your trip hassle free and relaxing.

Love # 245 @ Spanish Trace

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I love St. Augustine and this year was the best ever. The condo has a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, beautiful ocean feel to it with the lovely blues in LR and MBR. Beds are comfortable which is hard to find in most rentals and everything is clean and updated.

The condo complex itself is immaculate and the salt water pool is large enough to swim laps and was not crowded on our visit 9/2-9/6.

Would return in a minute.

PS the warm ocean is within view, a short walk away; the sandy beach can't be beat!!!

Owner's Response: So happy to hear that you had a great time. Fall is so special in St. Augustine. The crowds are gone and the weather is usually the best! I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed the complex, as well. The condo association is doing a fabulous job with upgrades and maintenance. We would love to have you back. Thanks again.

Amazing place to spend a family vacation!

  • 5 of 5

This was our family's 3rd consecutive year staying in this room at Spanish Trace, and our vacations seem to be getting better and better. This two-story condo is very spacious and has everything you could want (full kitchen, wide open living room and dining room, two upstairs bedrooms, two bathrooms, TV's in every room, etc...). It doesn't matter if it's only two of you or a large family... there's plenty of area. The patio is right above the swimming pool (very nice pool) and over looks the beach. So close you can hear the ocean. Both the property and the room is well kept and very clean. It's really nice being located so close to some great restaurants and not far at all from the historical downtown. Anything else you could need is also within a short distance (pharmacies, grocery stores, etc). Having stayed at several Florida beaches, my family and I definitely enjoy St. Augustine the most, and without a doubt would not want to stay anywhere other than Spanish Trace. Our 3 years have given us a lot of great memories!

Wonderful vacation condo!

  • 5 of 5

My adult daughters and I had a terrific vacation in this lovely and comfortable condo. The decor is light and pretty, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. It was super-clean when we arrived, and I really appreciated the two full beds in the second bedroom. The master bedroom has a sink/vanity, and with the other 2 full bathrooms, it was really easy for the 3 ladies to get ready at the same time. The balcony overlooked the beach and pool and was furnished with very comfy lounge chairs. All in all, I was completely satisfied with the accomodations and with the price.
