Would not stay again AND never recommend

  • 1 of 5

We don’t review places bc the never seem fair; however, this needs a review. Owner very nice and price is great. Since dog friendly we didn’t expect a perfect environment; however cockroach’s, mildew, cob webs, dirty pans and dishes in cupboards are BEYOND unacceptable when you stay anywhere. If it weren’t for our dog and son, who was attending a UNC class, we would have demanded $ back. We dealt with it and imagined we were camping - but I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Location was perfect.

Cobwebs, cockroaches and blood

  • 2 of 5

From the second we opened the door my husband and I were shocked at the condition of the property. There were cobwebs in the entry way, blood stained sheets on our bed, the spare blanket was covered in blood, cockroaches running around and the tub would not drain.

The owner is a nice guy but the property was way below any kind of cleaning standard.

It is located in a great area downtown but with a little effort it could be so much more.

Fantastic location

The apartment could not be more conveniently located; Steve was incredibly nice and helpful when we had some initial problems. He even picked us up at the airport.

Really Great Property, Great Owner

  • 5 of 5

Anyone that wants to experience downtown Wilmington will love this Front and Ann Street Apartment. The location is perfect and it has everything you need to feel at home.

We walked down to Front St for shops and restaurants, enjoyed the river walk that's a stone's throw away, and appreciated quiet evenings and dinners at "home."

The owner was incredibly accommodating and great to deal with. We had no problems with the home and really did appreciate the graciousness.

A true historic apartment in the best spot.

Great Location

  • 5 of 5

This rental is in the heart of downtown Historic Wilmington with lots of sites to see close by. This was our first trip to Wilmington and we enjoyed our time there. The rental was exactly as pictured and described. The river walk was great and peaceful. We had a real adventure walking around town looking at the historical buildings and homes, visiting filming landmarks from many films like Safe Haven, One Tree Hill, and Iron Man III, and embarked on a guided boat tour with Wilmington Water Tours. Everyone needs to visit the Cotton Exchange with all of the artifacts and quaint shops nestled inside. Our adventures lead us to Fort Fisher where we toured the fort, visited the aquarium, and went to Fort Fisher’s beach. We traveled to Southport, spotted dolphins in the bay, and toured the old jail and visitor center before riding the ferry back to Fort Fisher. The Battleship tour was great and a short drive. Steve was very hospitable and made us feel welcome! He provided information about movie locations and information that helped with ideas of places to visit. The apartment had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. It was a short drive to multiple beaches in the area which made it great. This rental was exactly what we needed! Thank You Steve
