Come stay with us on your next trip to Ashland, Oregon. Home to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Southern Oregon is known for its natural beauty, cultural activities and many outdoor adventures.
This log cabin lodge was built and shipped to Oregon by one of the premier log home builders in Montana . We were looking for the true feel of the west . Some of the more common comments from our guest. ' Just 30 minutes drive from Ashland and you feel like your in the middle of Idaho's wilderness. ' Its like walking into a Sunset magazine article with all the cabin decor '. The large river rock masonry fireplace offers a great area for sitting, relaxing and conversing with family and friends. The log dinning room table will easily sit 10 . We have an outside cottage for those wanting a little more privacy . It has a gas fireplace. Flat screen TV , and king bed. The master bedroom has a king bed with a antique claw foot tub and sink in the room. There are a number of good dinning establishments for those wanting a night out without having to drive to town. My other cabin can be found at VRBO listing # 326005
Keywords: Log Cabin Lodge on the shores of Hyatt Lake. Secluded and nestled in an alpine meadow surrounded by Aspen trees. Majestic, serene , private and great views.

About Randy Warren
This is not really me but it is my son. It was such a great fish that I had to show it . I was born in Ashland in 1951. My grandfather used to bring me to Hyatt lake every summer for a week of camping and fishing. When I was on one of my bike rides from Ashland I noticed a for sale sign in the grass that appeared to have been there for a long time. I jotted the number down and thought what a great place this would be should it still be for sale . As fate would have it it was . After many years of remodeling rebuilding etc. I thought what a sham that more people don't get to experience Hyatt lake as I did growing up. That is why we offer this experience for you, your family and friends.
Randy Warren purchased this Cabin in 1991
Why Randy Warren chose Ashland
It offers so much to do and is a great escape from the heat of the valley in the summer months. The cross country skiing , hiking, biking and just the remote feeling of its location . Its 1/2 mile from the Pacific Crest Trail.
What makes this Cabin unique
Rest and relaxation. A great place with clean air and water. Don't bring bottled water , as the water in the tap is as good as it gets. Watch the sunrise over the lake while having your morning coffee on the deck . Sit by the fire pit and stargaze. Go for a canoe ride on the lake. It doesn't get much better than this. Don't forget your bike. Great area for both mountain and road bikes. For those wanting to see Crater Lake, there is a back route taking you into the East entrance. It's a drive you won't want to miss. If you are into bird watching, my biology professor counted 210 different species of birds from the front deck.

Relaxing and Beautiful!
Thank you for the review we look forward to your return. We installed the heated floors this past summer. Were hoping to save on propane by moving to a renewable heat. Thenext step will be solar panels to off set the electic floor heat. Sorry about the cell service US cell and Vorizon have great service. We had a landline that was destroyed by a storm last year and Century Link cant find the problem. With the new dish tv services coming we plan to get internet which will allow our guests to connect . Randy
Perfect, perfect, perfect!
Wonderful cabin. Beautifully appointed. Feels more like someone's loved retreat than a rental.
We spent many years collecting cabin decore. Nice to have you appreciate all that we have done. The cabin is our dream log home. We are so fortunate to be able to offer it to others and have them experience our dream. The recent addition of all heated tile floors has made the cabin even more cozy on those colder days. Hope to have you return. Randy
Great cabin
We are a bit out of the main stream of things. Thats the beauty of the place. Nice and cool and if you have US Cell or Verison Cell you will have 3 bars. Thats what most of us in the southern oregon area use because the coverage is so much better. We are able to use our hotspots and do all our computer stuff off of our cells. Theres rumor that we will have internet by October. As soon as its available we will put it in. I remember when we first got the cabin we did not have TV . Looking back I am not sure it was a good decision to put TV s in. Seemed like family time was just that and not sitting in front of the tube. That said its really nice during football season and or or relaxing to a movie from satellite dish or form our library of CD s . Randy
Beautiful Place
