Here we are on a lake by a small town not far from our log home. Enjoying ourselves with our friends.
The Owner purchased this cabin in 2005
We chose to buy a vacation rental in this location because we absolutely love the mountians. We chose our particular home because of the creek in the backyard. We love it. There is nothing like going to bed and falling asleep listening to the rushing creek. We enjoy the outdoors immensely. There are so many small towns that are nearby. You can go to Cherokee which is less than 30 minutes away and go tubing, trout fishing, and even go to the casino if that is your thing. Waynesville is closest small town with terrific shops and restaurants. We always have a great time there. We enjoy Brysan City which has a beautiful park with tubing, horseback riding, fishing, shops and so much more. You can stay in our log home and enjoy short day trips to so many wonderful little towns. Driving in the mountains is so picturesque!
We had such a wonderful summer vacation at your beautiful mountain home. Our three year old enjoyed her first creek to play in. The visit reminded me of the home my parents had (minus the creek) many years ago. It was exciting for me to share so many childhood memories with my new family. We invited my husbands family to fill up this big house and share in the fun- they had a blast! Thanks again for the lovely home where new memories were made!
The property was beautifully decorated!! Very clean, updated. Perfect place for a group of 8-10 people. Great for families with kids of any age or for adults. Would definitely stay again
WE had passed the exit sign for Maggie Valley for fourteen years and I always wanted to spend time there. "Creekside Falls" exceeded every expectation! The setting is breathtaking and the pictures didn't do it justice. We loved the home and it was so comfortable for our family of ten. It was so clean and decorated so beautifully. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. The open floor plan allowed us to spend quality time together while cooking. A couple of the reasons I chose the house was for the game room, and fire pit by the stream. We were able to have a camp fire with smores and enjoyed using the basket on the pulley system to bring down the ingredients. It was a miracle to awaken to snow on Thanksgiving day. What fun it was for grandkids from S.C. to play in the snow. WE built snowmen, made angels and had a good old fashioned snow ball fight! Maggie Valley was so fun to explore. Spent time in Waynesville and watched artists at work which my older grand kids Loved!! The entire family spent the day at the Biltmore. Many of us had never been there for the Candlelight Christmas tour. A must see if you have not experienced it. A fabulous time overall and memories for a lifetime!
This cabin is in the most beautiful setting I have been in.You are not too isolated but still have plenty of privacy....the creek is right in your back yard and the sound of the rushing creek is so relaxing. The cabin is decorated beautifully and is very clean! In the summer you have plenty of shade from the trees surrounding the house. There is everything you need for cooking, barbecuing, and even a fire pit to have a campfire right along the creek. There are plenty of activities nearby. We went to the Little Princess in Cherokee for tubing....by far the best tubing I have done! You can fish at so many locations but we went to Lake Junaluska and the trout farm. Shopping at the Old Mill....drove up to the park in Cataloochee and saw Elk that came right up to your car! So much to do....I will definitely be back next year!
Cataloochee Ski Resort, Tube World, Santa Land, Carpet Golf, Wildlife Viewing including Elk, Bears, Wild Turkeys, White Water Rafting, Tubing, Smoky Mountains National Park, Wheels Through Time Museum, Horseback Riding, Cherokee Indian Reservation, Gem Mining, Harrah's Casino, Blue Ridge Parkway, and much more!
