About Dan C. or Tom C.

Tom and Dan took their first of many yearly trips to Cape Cod with their parents over 40 years ago. After having children, the brothers decided to buy a vacation home of their own so they could continue their tradition of family fun at the Cape.

Dan C. or Tom C. purchased this house in 2007

Why Dan C. or Tom C. chose Cape Cod

Tom and Dan bought their home from a couple who raised their family in it and kept it well-maintained. They knew it would be a good vacation home based on its size, layout, and location. The Great Sand Lakes Association in Harwich is a peaceful and friendly neighborhood, but it is central to everything the Cape has to offer.

What makes this house unique

The home's two family rooms, back deck, and game room allow everyone to spread out and enjoy different activities. The central air system provides a welcome respite from the Cape's heat and humidity. The beach at Buck's Pond is within walking distance—it's great for children who want to play and swim and convenient for adults and teens who want to relax near the water, but remain close to home. The neighborhood streets are quiet and safe for walking and biking.

Great stay in Harwichport.

  • 5 of 5

We can only say that what a wonderful stay we had at your cottage. It was well stocked, very clean and very nicely decorated. We loved the little village with the pond. We couldn't have asked for a nicer cottage and at a wonderful price. We hope we could possible have the opportunity to stay here this summer. Thanks for everything.

Unbelievable Flexibility

  • 5 of 5

While we had intended to stay at the house in Harwich for the week-end of 10/2 - 10/4 and there was an unexpected last minute change in our plans and Tom could not have been more understanding, flexible and accommodating. He was extremely response on email and a pleasure to be in contact with. While we can not speak to the house, we can speak to the character of those that own it and they were a dream. If we find ourselves in Harwich in the near future, we look forward to staying at their house.

Great House. Great Location. Great Vacation.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in July 2015 for a week. The house was perfect and fulfilled all our vacation needs. Labels were displayed through the house helping us tremendously throughout the week. The owners have thought of everything. The house was very clean and well decorated. We visited the lake down the road (within walking distance) each day. It gave us the quiet we were looking for after a morning at the beach. The owner provided kayaks and we used them on the lake, what a great experience. The location of the house was perfect. Red River Beach was only a 5 minute ride down Depot Road. We ended up visiting this beach 3 times during our week because it was so conveniently located.

The house made our best Cape Cod we've taken so far. We look forward to renting again

Everything you need in a great vacation home

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a week in July 2015. We have been visiting the Cape for 5 years and this has been the best house we have rented. Everything was thoughtfully provided and labeled throughout the house. On the non beach days we played pool and table tennis in the rec room. We took advantage of the kayaks and visited the nearby lake daily. The lake beach near the house (within walking distance) gave us the quiet we were looking for after a morning at the beach. The location in Harwich was perfect. It is a 5 minute ride down Depot Road to Red River Beach (great shell collecting).

I would highly recommend this rental to everyone. We look forward to renting again soon.

The cleanest vacation home I have ever rented!

  • 5 of 5

We have rented a lot of vacation homes in the Cape and by far this was the cleanest. Everything was well organized within the house. The kitchen was well equipped even though there was not an oven. (There really isn't a need for baking in the summer and there is a large toaster oven if needed.) The pool table and ping pong table were a treat. The private beach at the pond was well kept and relaxing. Two family rooms and wifi made this a perfect house for multiple families.

There is not a lot of room to play outside in the yard here, however, the neighborhood is easily walkable and the pond is just down the road.

I highly recommend this house! The owners were easy to work with and provided tons of information on the local area.

Beatuful, tastefully decorated, well kept up

  • 5 of 5

We love coming back to Camaro's home. It is tastefully decorated, beautiful, well kept and organized. It makes one feel welcome and provides great relaxing atmosphere. Everything is at your fingertips from the small house items to the kids toys, games, books and a few min walk to the prestine Buck's pond. Great and very helpful owners that respond promptly to any questions or concerns. Would recommend Brax for brunch or freshly prepared seafood.
