This beautiful condo is located three miles north of the hotel zone and away from the maddening crowd. It is only twenty five minutes from the airport and near the fisherman's village of Puerto Juarez. This condo has a beautiful beach with views of the hotel zone and the island of Isla Mujeres. The ferry to the island is seven blocks away. Tours can be booked at the resort next door. Convenience stores are within walking distance. Easy walking to the Mayans ruins named El Meco. Minibuses pass in front of the complex every ten minutes and go downtown where the mercados and large grocery stores are located.

Why Michael L. Garcia chose Cancún

We looked everywhere from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen to Cancun for a place to buy. This condo was a good buy for our family and was still the real Mexico. It is not overly Americanized with Pizza Hut, Outback Steakhouse, McDonald's, etc. The area is a small fishing village just three miles north of downtown Cancun. The palapa style restaurants in the area serve the catch of the day.

Gated complex and private parking. Twenty-four hr. security. Bottled water can be purchased at the complex or any local store. The condo is located next to the Sea Adventure Resort and Water Park (formerly the Blue Bay Resort and Marina) near Puerto Juarez. Tours can be booked at the Sea Adventure Resort. 24 hour taxi service in front of the resort. Affordable minibuses run in front of the complex every fifteen minutes. The ferry to Isla Mujeres is less than one mile away. Take the ferry to the beautiful island Isla Mujeres, a popular day trip for visitors to Cancun. It is the perfect place for those who like to snorkel, shop, or eat fresh seafood. The ferry has departures and arrivals throughout the day. International phone cards can be purchased from the resort gift shop. Telephones are located in front of the resort.

Great location!

Loved the location! Super close to Puerto Juarez to get to the Isla, great local restaurants/Food vendors. Loved being away from the hotel zone, got the real feel of Mexico! Can't wait to go back!

Great Vacation

We spent 28 days here in July 2017. It was our first time doing a vacation rental and based on this experience we will definitely do it again. The beach was beautiful. Seaweed does come and go, but our boys (4 and 6 yr old) spent hours building sand castles and splashing in the ocean. The pool was very well used as well. The condo is close to downtown. Buses drive by regularly (9 pesos per person) or you can take a short taxi ride (we were able to get a cab for 50 - 80 pesos each time). The condo is also within walking distance of El Meco (ruins), the ferry to Isla Mujeres (Beautiful island, a must see), several restaurants, Oxxo and the water park.

The BBQ on the beach did not work and you could only get WiFi at the pool or in the laundry room (though it did work on bed nearest the jungle - that was a late discovery). We would have also liked to have a deck or balcony. It would have been nice to be outside when the boys went to bed. Those were the only negatives that I could think of.

The communication was great. Michael responded right away to emails. There was a problem with the AC early in our trip, but Michael and Frankie were quick to repair it.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone. It was a great location, super quiet (almost no one on the beach but us), access to almost everything, friendly neighbors, great communication, great price.

Best deal in Cancun!

My family of four stayed 9 days at this condo. We were within walking distance to the ferry that takes you to Isla Mujeres. The kitchen was well stocked to cook on the days we didn't feel like going out to eat. The condo was very spacious. We enjoyed having the beach so close to us. We would leave the windows open to hear the sound of the ocean every evening. I would definitely reccomend.

Great Time in Cancun

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) had a wonderful time in Cancun. The Hopelchen condo worked great for us. The private beach and private pool were WELL used by our family. There is a nice public beach and several local restaurants within walking distance. The property manager and owner were quick to respond to questions we had about the condo and the area. The Puerto Juarez Ferry to Isla Mujeres is also within walking distance.

I had a rental car and it was very convenient, however I would recommend buses, shuttles, and taxies instead.

We had a great, relaxing stay and saw plenty of sites.

Roomy condo was perfect for our family of six

The best part was that the beach was right outside the condo complex, and I could watch my children play on the beach from the large windows inside. I really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location. I would highly recommend for a family looking for a spacious, comfortable, and affordable place to stay in Cancun.
