Hi Steve:. Thanks for the accommodations – it was a wonderful visit. Your neighbors were so friendly and kind and the proximity to the beach and grocery store made the stay that much more enjoyable. Thanks again for the digs and we wish you the best. This was our first trip to Maryland in 10 years as a complete family, but if we do it again, we will be sure to keep you and “Casa” in mind for accommodations.

Home away from home

  • 5 of 5

I was impressed with the layout and open floor plan of this house. we had five people in our party and never once felt like we were in each others way. The living area is roomy with plenty of space to sprawl out. the kitchen was updated with SS appliances and i loved the island in the middle. just room for a couple of people to visit over coffee in the mornings. My favorite part of the house were all the decks. we enjoyed the upper deck (bird's eye view) and spent plenty of time on each one of them. the gas grill came in handy on numerous occasions. The neighborhood was quiet, friendly and beautiful. we all enjoyed walks down to the community beaches and areas all week long. I might also add that the house is on a big corner lot with plenty of room for parking and even a small trailer with a boat. both neighbors were friendly one offered for us to use his kayaks if we wanted and the other did not hesitate to print out our e-tickets for the flight back home. So, if you are looking for a relaxing great vacation you will not be disappointed! :) ps i almost forgot that i left a shoe behind and Steve was more than willing to mail it back to me without hesitation and would not let me pay for the shipping. we all said it several times throughout the week how much we were gonna miss the house and neighborhood. Thanks so much Steve, i consider you a friend. take care until next time!

Great stay.

  • 4 of 5

We had a nice stay. House was perfect for what we wanted - to be close to USNA but not in downtown. We would definitely stay again.

Great House

  • 5 of 5

This house had everything you could ask for. Great location. Our family & two dogs felt right at home. Kitchen set up beautifully, owner very thoughtful & available. The area has plenty of things to do. We walked just a block down to the bay, swam the dogs & enjoyed the beach . Neighborhood very friendly.

Peaceful and convenient to USNA

  • 4 of 5

Very nice house and great location! We were there for our son's commissioning from the USNA. We wanted something close enough but yet away from the hustle and bustle of Annapolis and near water. Casa Arundel worked out perfectly. It's about 10-15 minutes from the Academy and easy to get to going by way of Forest to Bay Ridge Blvd and in Gate 1. After busy days this is a great place to relax. It's in a nice peaceful neighborhood. The house is well equipped for a family or to entertain a small group. It has a very open, contemporary feel which I loved. Lots of windows! The great room and kitchen were very nice and worked great for hanging out with everyone! We had everything we needed for cooking. With the master bedroom upstairs, my husband and I had our privacy and the kids could hang out downstairs later into the night. At the peak of our trip we had 7 adults + 1 dog here. The 2 downstairs bedrooms are small but adequate. One bedroom does not have a closet and you walk through that bedroom to the back yard and deck. Not a problem for us since it was all family and parts of our party were only there part of the week. There is a closet between the kitchen and great room that can be used to hang clothes. Steve also provided a hanging clothes rack for us in the master bedroom which helped. The beds were comfortable. I have back and neck issues so am very picky about my bed and I can definitely say the master bed was comfortable for me for the entire week. We also used the sectional couch for 2 to sleep on, so it all worked. We brought our German Shepherd dog and she loved going for walks around the neighborhood and playing in the water which is just down the street. Steve was very easy and nice to work with. He seems to always be making improvements.

Annapolis is a wonderful place to visit. We have been coming here for 8 years with 2 sons having attended USNA. Restaurants galore. The Federal House and Boatyard Bar and Grill are two of our favorites. My husband and I ate at Cafe Normandie on this trip to celebrate our anniversary. Very nice and romantic! There are so many more and just enjoying walking around town and the Academy and all around the water never looses it's magic. Staying at Casa Arundel gives you the feel of Annapolis with water surrounding you everywhere.

Excellent stay

  • 5 of 5

Excellent house...it worked out perfect for us. Group of 5 and our little dog. We went to the Annapolis Sailboat show and this house worked out perfect for everyone in our party. The kitchen was well set up with pots/pans, utensils...you name it, he had it. The living room was cute and all the bedrooms were tastefully done in nice decor. We loved it. Our dog loved it too. (fenced in back yard) Great area to walk with your dog or just get out and exercise....

Great for kids and grilling and everything else

  • 5 of 5

My wife and our 10 month old son just spent the last week at Casa Arundel. We were in town for a wedding in Annapolis and to visit with friends and family in the area. The house was super clean and very kid friendly... carpet throughout, high chair, crib and fenced yard. Great neighbors too with young kids to go to the beach with.

The master bedroom was upstairs and allowed us to get away when guests (who partied well into the nights) were downstairs enjoying themselves.

The large deck out back was great for entertaining... grill is huge and clean and plenty of space to enjoy blue crabs and then just hose down for clean up.

I am extremely picky when it comes to hotel rooms, rental houses, etc. but I have only great things to say about Casa Arundel and hope it is available when we head back next summer.

Michael

PS - Awesome large TVs as well.
