The apartment was much larger than expected. It had everything we required and the view was spectacular. We used the balcony everyday. We enjoyed the walk into Ravello every night and even walked to Amalfi. Just be prepared for a large amount of steps, although we enjoyed the exercise.
What a magnificent view. Probably the best ever from a holiday property. Plenty of space too.
We loved staying here. Ravello is a charming town. It is quite a walk up from there. Many steps but once there so beautiful. Amadeus was very helpful meeting us and showing us how things worked. The roads are steep and narrow and the garage was very handy. Parking is difficult in other places.
There was not a local supermarket or restaurant but Amadeus showed us the bus and it was very useful. The flat is huge and we had a baby so the cot and washing machine were great. Wifi was fast and free. The beds were comfortable and the flat stayed cool. We didn’t need to use the aircon. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped and we really loved sitting out under the umbrella on the balcony listening to the church bells. We even had fireworks one night.
There is lots to see in the area and we also loved visiting Amalfi despite the tight roads. A boat trip from there was enjoyable.
I happily recommend this property.
The view speaks for itself. We really enjoyed our stay here with a family of 6 adults. Loved the large patio as it was beyond words. Apartment had unbelievable view, but modern amenities. Great host who was very responsive and took care of all our needs. A few stairs down to Ravello but absolutely worth it. Only about a 10-15 minute walk. Can’t wait to come back!!!!!
Amazing view and balcony and a very good space.
Beautiful view !!!
Ravello is a beautiful village on the Amalfi coast. Set in the mountains, the house overlooks Ravello and the Amalfi Coast. Views are ever changing according to the sun position. We went to the village of Ravello every day and enjoyed shopping and the great restaurants. Grocery stores, as we know them, are difficult to find. There were 2 small "markets" in Ravello but we could not find a supermarket of any size. We had a rental car and parking was provided at the house. Roads are very narrow and winding. The house is very large, 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. It has a huge patio, overlooking "the world". It was a little cool when we visited so we didn't spend much time on the patio except to take pictures. The house had everything we needed.
Great view but .......
My husband and I and two friends spent four nights here recently. We enjoyed the fantastic view from the large terrace. The kitchen was adequate and the induction cooktop was a very nice feature. The accommodation is spacious and offers air conditioning. However, the furnishings were very sparse: one small sofa and 6 plastic chairs and there were four lounge chairs on the terrace. The bedroom and bathroom linens could definitely use an upgrade. They are not what one would expect in an accommodation of this caliber. While this apartment offers a wonderful garage parking space. Access is very difficult for any vehicle larger than a sub compact. There is a direct walking route into town but it is extremely steep with lots of uneven steps which in some places need repair. It is definitely NOT suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but we would have had a fantastic visit with a few changes.
