Ideal position and lovely accommodation. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
The accommodation is exactly as described, it’s well equipped and comfortable. If you’re tall the low beams and light fittings could be hazardous. Twin rooms are definitely more suitable for younger children as very small and ceiling height above the beds is limited. I would advise taking your own pillows if you don’t like memory foam ones as there was only a couple of normal ones. There’s limited information in the property so visiting an information centre and buying an OS map if you’re after walking would be advised. Moors valley country park and Arnis equestrian are great for all ages and Bournemouth sea front is only half hour away and was lovely. We would definitely stay again.
Gorgeous thatched cottage! We loved our visit here - thank you!
Thank you so much for our wonderful stay at the cottage. It was beautiful and in such an idyllic setting! We particularly enjoyed sitting on the deck in the garden under the willow tree watching the deer and horses in the next field. We also made use of some of the apples in the garden to make a delicious crumble! The cottage itself was very well equipped, had a range of DVD’s and toys to keep the children entertained and was close by to all the New Forest has to offer. We couldn’t recommend it enough, we’d love to come back again! Thank you xx
Absolutely fantastic. Cottage was exactly as advertised and better. Our four little granddaughters were happy to play in the garden so we didn’t really need to go anywhere. We did go to Bealieu which we all enjoyed and the Fighting Cocks pub at Godshill where we saw wild ponies roaming about which they could stroke. Cottage was very homely and everything there you would require. Overall brilliant.
Very cute cottage. Our first time in a thatch. Great location so close to the New Forest and the coast. Didn't realise it was so close to the road and the road was so busy and a bit perilous as locals drive too fast and in the middle of the road with blind corners but we managed. The gardens are gorgeous. Enjoyed watching the various animals feed at the bird feeder. The beds were super comfy. Nice deep bath. Could do with a little updating in the interior, soft furnishings etc. but otherwise everything was here. Some milk in the fridge on arrival would have been a nice touch for a cuppa after a long drive in heavy traffic. Would definitely consider it again in the future as the location was so good and it was comfortable and serviceable for our needs.
A very happy holiday with all my family
Lovely cottage and very well equipped. Bedroom layout suited our family but may not suit everyone's needs ( single beds cannot be moved together to make a double) very handy having a toilet in the downstairs bedroom otherwise we may have struggled with 8 people and 1 bathroom. The garden was a joy to sit in from early morning till late evening. Again very well equipped for our needs
would definitely book Snowdrop Cottage again
We would have given 5 stars if there had been a shower in the downstairs bedroom (this would also help if you couldn't manage stairs)
Great family holiday home!
We recently stayed for 12 nights at Snowdrop Cottage with our pet dog.
Everyone loved it.
Full of character and the cosy aga was always nice to return to.
We would definitely stay again.
Thanks Lynda and Keith.
