Wonderful time here!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic time in May when we stayed at this location. Everything was provided, there was a great view from the window and it was an excellent home base for our vacation. The kitchen is incredibly well-equipped and we ended up cooking more than expected, as we just really enjoyed being In the unit, sliding the doors open, and just loving our vaca. I was wondering if being above the pool would make for a lot of noise, but it is the quiet pool below and since all of the pools close down early, there wasn't any loud noise, particularly at night. We had two young teens with us and they really enjoyed the lagoon nearby and the salt pools. The lagoon was safe, not overly crowed, and just plain relaxing! All in all it was a fantastic location with plenty to do nearby. This was our first time on the west side of the island and would definitely return. Also, after numerous trips to the islands, most of us experienced our first luau, and went to Paradise Cove and had a blast! Highly recommend that also, since it is close enough that we were able to walk and super fun for everyone. Hosts were easy to get a hold of during the reservation process and accommodating. This was a long-awaited trip for us all and the accommodations were the icing on the cake. :)

Amazing Place

  • 5 of 5

This place far exceeded our expectations. Absolutely spectacular view from our balcony which includes pools and ocean from 14th floor! Everything was provided to include beach towels and chairs and play tools for our grandson. We never wanted to leave. It was a very restful vacation. Unlike when we stayed in Waikiki! No hustle and bustle but if you want it you can drive there and then come home to peace and serenity! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Highly recommend it to anyone!

Really Enjoyed this Property!

  • 5 of 5

This fantastic home has everything you would expect in a luxury home. All rooms are spacious, the beds are cozy and comfortable. Plenty of towels and beach gear – boogey boards, toys for kids. The apartment is super-clean, silverware, dishes and glasses are spotless and high end. Very conveniently located in the building, nice view of the ocean from the master bedroom (you do not need to get up from the bed to see it) and the living room / kitchen area. The pool view from all rooms – the nicest swimming pool you have been to. The beach is just next to the building, most people drive there early to get a parking spot – you have it any time of the day without driving. Booking was easy and everything worked as expected or better. Thank you!!!

Great Location

  • 4 of 5

Our family stayed at this condo for the last 8 days (August 14-22, 2013). It was a perfect and quiet location. The lagoon was wonderful. On my last day, I had a chance to snorkeling with the turtle in the lagoon. This is our first time to Hawaii but we did check out the place with our co-worker before renting the condo. The appliances and everything were as to be expected except for the tiny washer and dryer. We wished they are standard size because we packed light for the trip. There were some condiments left over but we had to make a run to Walmart to get some but it was expected. Beach towels were included in the unit which was a huge bonus as well as dish/laundry detergent (as special ones were required for the appliances), no need to pack any from home. The unit also had 3 beach chairs but we did not have a chance to use them. It would have been nice for some beach implements (such as boogie boards, sand toys, etc.... to have been available or in the storage some where on the property for the owner), but it was not a deal breaker. We were on the 2nd pool (the quiet pool), so that was great and it have a good view in the evening while we ate dinner. Occasionally, the pool would get really loud because the parents were not follow the "quiet pool rules". We would definitely stay at this complex and in this unit again. My only negative thing about the condo was the sofa bed. It was too soft so we ended up taking out the mattress and use it on the floor. It was our choice.

Awesome Condo

  • 4 of 5

We stayed at this condo in July 2012. It was a perfect location and the lagoon was wonderful. We have stayed in Waikiki in the past and really hate the hustle/bustle and traffic associated with that area. The appliances and everything were as to be expected. The spices and condiments were a huge bonus. One thing that was disappointing was that there were no grilling tools or cookie sheets in the unit. We had to make a run to Walmart to get some. Beach towels were included in the unit which was a huge bonus as well as dish/laundry detergent (as special ones were required for the appliances), no need to pack any from home. The unit also had 2 beach chairs. It would have been nice for some beach implements (such as boogie boards, sand toys, etc.... to have been available), but it was not a deal breaker. We were on the third pool by the quiet pool, so that was great. Occassionally, the pool would get really loud, but security was always quick to take care of it. We would definitely stay at this complex and in this unit again.

Awsome Property for family vacation - Loved it!!!

  • 5 of 5

When we think of a resort this is exactly what we had in mind. The condo was very clean and well taken care of. The grounds are immaculate and the sunsets are beautiful. As good as the pictures are they don’t do it justice. There is a huge pocket door that opens the kitchen up to the large patio. We were there for a family vacation so we weren’t in need of a big bar scene, but we did bring beers to the pool and no one bothered us. There is a small bar by the beach, but it is open limited hours. Also the Taco restaurant down the street had good food and great (strong) margaritas. Tell them you are part of the Ko' Olina properties and they give you a discount. Other positives, there is wifi with ok reception, nice flat screen TV, amazing kitchen with high end appliances. Only negatives are the gym is not accessible to the renters of this property and the master bedroom didn’t have drawers for clothes, but it did have a closet with a couple of shelves that worked ok. Also the washer dryer were very slow and Ice machine was also slow. Not a huge deal, just plan on getting an extra bag of ice when you are out. You really can’t go wrong with this place. We loved it and have recommended friends to go there also. We will definitely be back!
