Glover's Lake House - Located on Lake Seminole's Fish Pond Drain, just one-quarter mile by water from Seminole State Park.
Come and relax in our quite, peaceful setting with lots of privacy. Brick Home features three Bedroom, two Bath, Living Room, Dining Room, Den, and Kitchen with Breakfast Room. 14x42 Sunroom has the best view of the Lake. Sunroom has tables and chairs with seating for 25 people.
From the Sunroom, you can see our great 107 foot boat dock. At the dock, you will find a beautiful firm sandy bottom that is great for swimming, skiing, sea-dooing, and boating. There are steps at the dock that make access to the water easy for all ages. Fishing is also great for Bass, Bream, Shellcracker, Catfish, and Speckled
Perch. The lake is well known for great duck hunting, as well as the Wild Life Management Area, located approximately three miles away.

I am one of 4 siblings that live near the home that our parents built in1968. I am a VietNam veteran that loves this country and would still fight for her today if I need to. Retired 3 yrs ago and now have time to give to our Lakehouse Married for 47 wonderful years to the love of my life. Also now I get to spoil the 3 greatest Grandkids in the world. I am a Christian that Loves God and try to show that Love to All!
Bobby Glover purchased this house in 1968
Our Lakehouse is very special because of the fact that it is an extention of the Love our parents passed to us, and we like to share it with others. There are so many things about the house and property that make it special. it sits on 2 full lots on the water with a dock that is 100ft in length with a large deck at the end. Most of our guests love the big glassed in back porch that can seat 25 easily. Our mother was a super cook and I tell people that we have eaten enough chicken back there to make the Colonel blush.
I try to convey to our guests that the Lakehouse is not just rental property ,it is an extention of our family and we love to see people enjoy it like we have for these years. Just read our reviews and see for yourself what our guests say about there stay with us. thank You Bobby Glover
Perfect place for a fishing vacation. Bait, gas, and boat ramp just down the road.
Very clean spacious home with all the extras for an enjoyable stay, and Bobby is
just a phone call away if you have any questions. Thank you Bobby for a great
week and we will see you again next spring, good lord willing.
Thanks again, Don
The Good: Looking for lake adventures without modern technology, this is it. No wifi so family can enjoy being unplugged. Does have 1 TV with satellite for nighttime movies. Long dock, bottom steps can be slippery so be careful. Clean place, ceiling fans in bedrooms, laundry room appreciated. Plenty of chairs to fish or sit by the fire ring. Sunroom was our favorite place - very nice to watch over the lake and keep an eye on the kids fishing off the dock and the grandkids playing in the yard. Enjoyed the swing by the water. Owner very nice. Boat launch for free at the end of the road. Dollar General and State Park very close. Yard really nice; comfortable for barefoot grandkids. Nice hot water - enough for everyone to take a shower after a long fishing day. Son caught roughly a 25-pound catfish off the dock! The Bad: master bedroom bed would be fine for one person, but bed really needs to be replaced. If you're a couple and on the larger side, you'll roll and meet in the middle! Furniture needs updating. One or two nights would be fine, but a week or so stay is uncomfortable. GPS signal spotty makes it hard to get accurate weather or directions, but did take us right to the place. Nearest grocery and good restaurants 18 miles away. We recommend the folks at the Gateway Café. Good people, really good food, but may have a long wait.
Owners were very easy to work with!
The Georgia Southern Bass Fishing team stayed here for a college tournament. Great house, lots of room for fisherman to stay for a weekend. Room for boat and truck parking.
Thank you Mr. Bobby for having us!
We have an unexpected stay due to hurricane Irma. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much.
The house and yard was in great shape.
