View totally lived up to expectations
We just spent 6 days in the apartment and found it very comfortable for our family of 4. We enjoyed the wonderful view, ocean breezes, and pools on site. It was very convenient to enjoy all the major sights of the areas - biobay, ferries to Culebra/Vieques, El Yunque, Luquillo, lots of restaurants, etc. The restaurants down the hill do play live music on the weekends but we rather enjoyed the ambience and couldn't hear anything in the bedrooms with the AC running.
The view was amazing, my husband and I spent a lot of time relaxing on the balcony watching the boats and enjoying the scenery. There is not central air so even with the sliding doors open and a breeze it was still too warm for our liking. The bedrooms have air conditioning so we were comfortable sleeping. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the owner was nice to work with.
I'm really please that you have great time. We do have a/c in the leaving room. You just have to turn on manually or ask for it.
General: Fajardo is an amazing town. The condo has a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean. You can see Icacos and some of the other cays that make up Puerto Rico in the distance. On a clear day, you can even see Culebra. Fajardo is close to many of the companies that provide excursion trips and El Yunque is 20 minutes away. Luquillo beach is absolutely beautiful. There is plenty of shade and beach chairs and umbrellas can be rented for the day for a small cost. If you are hungry, you can go a little further down and have a delicious meal at one of the kiosks. Many great restaurants very close by (i.e. El Esatcion, La Fiesta Café, Cinco Nundo).
Nestled in the middle of a neighborhood with an abundance of culture.
Local bar playing music every night.
Owner is communicative
Not accurately portrayed:
This property is not beachfront. In order to get to the beach, you have to either drive to Seven Seas or Luquillo.
There is no air condition in the living room. If there is not a breeze off the Atlantic, the condo gets very warm unless you are in the bedrooms.
The complimentary snorkeling trip is not complimentary. You have to pay $200 for fuel.
Thank you for coming and stay with us. Regarding your comment that is not accurately portrayed. The site said that is Ocean View. We never advertised as beach front. There is a great cross ventilation throughout the apartment. You just have to open the windows. There is an a/c in the leaving room, but you have to requested. The boat is complimentary but you must paid for the fuel. The boat have twin engines with 500 hundred h/p and weight almost 6000 pounds. It is very clear on the apartment description. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
loved our stay in fajardo
My family and I loved our stay in Fajardo. The apartment building is very secure and is very beautiful. The pier and stores is close by which made it very convenient. The apartment itself was very nice decorated and the ocean view was absolutely amazing. It is very spacious and my 4 children were very happy having separate beds. All the bedrooms have AC except the living room but its not necessary due to the delightful breeze through the balcony. My son loved the swimming pool with the slide. Hansel is very nice, accommodating and he provides a binder with suggesting restaurants and places to go visit which is a big plus for 1st timers in Puerto Rico such as ourselves. My family and I would definitely go back and rent this place again. Thank you Hansel for everything.
Older apartment with great views
Located near El Conquistador. Gated apartments with elevators and great amenities, including well-stocked workout room, pool/Jacuzzi,tennis and basketball courts.
The view from the living room balcony is gorgeous. The inside of the apartment is weathered with cabinets/door frames needing some cosmetic attention; lots of little ants so watch out with sweets; but overall, apartment was comfortable. Washer/dryer was a plus!! Fajardo is a great location and the kiosk of Luquillo is right close by. Great for food, drink, and socializing.
Thank you for the compliments. However the apartment is only 7 years old with West Elm and Pier One furniture with brand new curtains all over. Very beach style. I don't know what you mean by old apartment. Very first person that make that type of comment. Regarding ants, those insects does live in the ground and not in the apartment. If you let sweets and bread out without cover or do not clean kitchen after use. Of course they will paid you a visit.
Great view! Close to many beautiful beaches! Lots of things to do & see in this area!
We really enjoyed our family vacation in Puerto Rico! Hansel was very easy to work with before our trip, & easy to reach while there too.The boat ride that he provides as part of renting his condo for the week was such a great experience(even though it rained part of the time!) He took us to 3 different islands to swim & snorkel...we all had a great time! The condo overlooks the marina which we thought was a really awesome view, & you can also see a few of the islands from the balcony too! The kids enjoyed the 3 different pools on site but there were so many different beaches to visit in the area that we did more of that than the pools. The condo was well equipped, I can't think of anything that we needed during our week that wasn't provided. Everyone was comfortable, we had plenty of room in the condo for our family of 6 plus my mother & never felt crowded. It was so nice having a washer & dryer in the condo as we used it quite a bit! Tons of restaurants in the area, grocery stores & Walgreens close also. We felt VERY safe here, and the people working the front gate always seemed friendly and very thorough...checking your name on the list every time you came in. There are a couple restaurants you can walk too and a tiny bar that are right on the Marina. We never went to the bar, but they had live music we got to enjoy a couple nights while sitting out on the balcony & so did one of the reataurants(La Ola) This was our first time to Puerto Rico and we would definately go back!
Our family of all ages enjoyed our time and all the things we did(& there was TONS of things we didn't have time to do...maybe next time!)
Thanks Hansel for a great place to stay & the boat trip!
I think this condo & this area of Puerto Rico is a place people of all ages would enjoy! We are in our early 40's, our kids are 16, 13, 11 & 3 & my mother is 65...all of us had an AMAZING Spring Break vacation(March 20-27)!!
The condo complex is new and clean w/ all the amenities one would want. At night you can hear the famous coquis croaking away. The complex is very safe with 24 hours security and gated entrance. The location is perfect for those that like to keep busy during their trips, if they choose. Snorkeling trips are literally 1 minute away (at the marina you see from the deck); Playa Seven Seas is a beautiful and uncrowded beach; a nature reserve w/ guided tours is 5 mins; and spectacular El Yunque Caribbean National Forest is 20 mins. Grocery shopping is 5 mins away at Amigos (a subsidiary or Wal-Mart...selection is equivalent to a medium-sized state-side supermarket). Take a ferry (5 minutes away) or an airplane on the local airport to visit Culebra and Vieques islands. Walking distance to el Conquistador Resort and the golf course. Walking distance to Marinas where you can go for a day sail to Icacos, Palominos, Ramos among other islands. . San Juan is only one hour away.
