Nice, Clean, Close to the Ocean

The property is just as described. It's very cute & small, yet has room for 4 guests. The kitchen served it's purpose, but could use a little more glassware and cookware. There was not a Keurig, but was a traditional coffee maker. The carriage house was beautiful in design & the location was excellent! It came with 2 bikes & we used them plenty! That was one of our favorite things to do was take bike rides. The beach was a very short distance from the carriage house. There weren't quite enough towels to last a week, but we managed. The King-sized bed was sooo comfortable! The only negatives would be that there is no wi-fi at this location, which we knew going in, But we were sure we would be just fine using cellular data--we were wrong, there is virtually no cell phone service there! We could get service on the beach, but not in the carriage house. Occasionally a bar appeared, but it was on SOS most of the time. The TV in the unit did not have anything on it, like no cable, no internet obviously, no way to scan for channels. You get a rental card when you arrive for dvds, but we couldn't find a dvd player in the unit. It would have been nice to have a selection of books to read. Make sure to bring your own beach chairs, unless you plan on renting & if you do rent, do so well in advance of your stay! We found Rosemary & the surrounding communities to be fun, well-planned, and a beautiful location! Overall Excellent Experience!

My review

We love coming to Rose Mary Beach. This is our second time and we’re celebrating our 20th anniversary. We liked to close proximity to the beach, however the picture of property makes it looks like it is beachfront. (1) The ad said it was supplied with iron, washer and dryer, and bikes. There was no iron. We had to ask for one. The washer and dryer and bikes were in the garage where we could not get to them because of furniture being stored and lumber being used for renovation of the main house.(2) It would be nice to be made aware before booking that there would be construction going on because of noise(3)

Small, but great stay!

This carriage house is lovely and very close to Walkover A. There were 2 beds upstairs that would probably only be realistically suitable for small kids. There isn’t much storage for things like suitcases etc, and no where to sit/lounge, but otherwise this is a cozy cottage in a great location! We would’ve loved to have been able to use the garage, but it is full of bikes and being used as storage, mainly. A few small inconveniences, but you can’t beat the location!
