About elliot zolot

My wife first came to Nantucket over 30 years ago. After our wedding here over 20 years ago I also fell in love with the island. We bought our home in 2000 and our twins have spent every summer here since they were born. There are bike paths around the whole island for us to ride on, we love to hike through the Moors and at Sanford Farm, and there are 60 miles of beach to enjoy the ocean. We have made great friends in this community and hope you can come and enjoy this wonderful island!

Guestbook comments from the owner

A very nice home for a family, a short walk to the heart of town. We loved that it was close to everything!

Great house & location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this lovely home in August 2016. A great location - about 0.7 miles from the Town Center. It's an older home with character and yet has a great kitchen with all the modern things you'd expect/hope for. We try to get back to Nantucket every couple of years and highly recommend the property and the owners. If you're looking for something close to Town, it's a great option.

Great little house

  • 5 of 5

This was a really great little house. Well outfitted, clean, and comfortable. It's close enough to town to be easily walkable. Our family really enjoyed our time here.

Loved this cute house in ACK!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 had a fantastic week in Nantucket. We loved the house. It is decorated nicely and is very comfortable. The walk to town is easy and our children often did it on their own. We also became regulars across the street at 56 Union whether for drinks after a beach day or dinner with friends. We really enjoyed our vacation here.

Great 4 night getaway

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful 4 night stay in this home. Its within walking distance of town and the rotary. Its got lots of character and fun things to look at. Its an historic home that has been updated which I am partial to. We cooked breakfast but ate out a lot because that was our choice. Its a well equipped, clean house and the owners are nice and easy to work with. We rode bikes and ended up renting a car for seeing outlying destinations.

We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Getaway House

  • 5 of 5

My girlfriend and I spent a fantastic September week at this cottage. It is very close to town, and we were able to walk to the shops and restaurants very easily. We rented bikes for the week and explored the island, and visited many wonderful restaurants. But we also cooked at 'home', and found that the cottage had a great kitchen, dining room, and den to relax in...

The cottage is deceptively large and can fit many people comfortably. The outdoor patio was also very nice, a great spot for cocktails, reading, etc.

Very much recommend this place and its owners, who were very nice and easy to deal with.

We hope to be back next September... and we know exactly where we would like to stay

Beautiful Home ... Ideally Located

  • 5 of 5

I've just returned from a long weekend on Nantucket staying at this property. We will definitely return. This home is cozy, charming, and a short walk from the heart of Nantucket Town. It had all the amenities anyone could want - lovely patio area, outdoor shower, a true cook's kitchen and pantry, as well as wi-fi, cable and books galore.

The owners were kind enough to send over some tips and recommendations for our trip, as well as detailed information about the house (built circa 1845).

I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking to spend some time exploring the island of Nantucket.
