The Saugatuck/Douglas area is a resort community on Lake Michigan full of art galleries, restaurants, boutiques, and antique stores. This 1860s boarding house in downtown Douglas has been completely restored making four condominium units, each with its own unique charm, including hardwood floors, tile bathroom, granite countertops, all new appliances, washer/dryer and central air. The condos are located minutes from the Douglas beach.

We went with a group of friends and created so many wonderful memories! The units were so cute and comfortable. Its so close to downtown and the taxi service to Saugatuck was cheap and fast. We can't wait to stay again.

This was a great place for a friends get together. We had all of our meals at the house (on the deck) and relaxed at the pool. It was also walking distance to nightlife and two blocks from stand-up paddle board rentals. Everything was walkable and the unit was incredibly well kept.
The location was great, just a couple blocks from Downtown Douglas, the river, and the Blue Star Highway for quick access to anywhere we wanted to go. The home was beautiful with more outdoor amenities than we could appreciate on an overcast October weekend, but the pool looks quite relaxing, and the unit has a full covered porch and a deck off a sliding door facing the pool. The unit was clean, the heat worked well, we had plenty of hot water for all of us.
The only thing I'll mention, since it echoes another review, is that the owner could do a little more on communication. There is a rental agreement that came attached with the quote, but I didn't notice it, and the communication speaks nothing of the agreement, or that it must be signed and returned. A day before our stay, I emailed the owner asking about access, keys, information, and she responded that we had not returned the rental agreement. She re-sent it and we got it taken care of. A little more intentional and specific communication in her responses about signing and returning the agreement would go a long way. But in the end it was a small concern that was worked out promptly and did not deter from our overall positive experience.
Oh, and be sure to take a selfie with the unit's coffee maker. I think it's the current world record holder for slowest coffee maker in operation. :)
We had a great time at Vintage Views! It was close to both downtown Douglas and Saugatuck. The interior of our condo was cute and clean. The exterior was colorful and fun. We utilized the heated salt water pool and hot tub, which made our trip even more relaxing. Can't recommend this place enough!
We loved our weekend getaway trip! The property was amazing. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this to everyone we know.
Best stay ever!! We had previously booked a place in Saugatuck and were miserable. Deciding that we did not want to stay in Saugatuck any longer we needed a new place and FAST! Que the lovely owners of Vintage View!! They took us in with open arms, helped us unload the car and made sure everything was perfect before they left. Sara even made sure the bed was comfy enough for us and offered another unit if we didn't like it! The condo itself was perfect, clean, and an all around God sent! I simply cannot say enough good things about both the owners and the unit! We need to make a return trip in the summer to utilize the awesome pool!
The property met our expectations and would be great for most families wanting a convenient location.... and a hang out at the pool option. Kayak rentals two blocks away and Saugatuk is a short walk over the bridge.... best Beech by far is Oval, and it is easier to reach by car..(7 minutes) they charge 6.00 per car, but you have in and out privilages, bathrooms and plenty of parking and plenty of beech. Condo 1 was comfortable for 2 adults and 2 in college... one bathroom makes me wonder about 6 unless you have smaller children. Grocery store is only 6 blocks away and is pretty well stocked and has movie rental if needed. Unit was well equiped and figuring out the light switches was the biggest challenge. Cranes in Fennville had Pies and u-pick fruit... Fennville had Pottery craft store that was very busy on our rainy day and all ages seemed to be having fun. Property Owners responded to questions, not sure about VRBO reservation process....we had a weird charge that we could not get corrected for 20.00. Plenty of area food choices but we liked the Pearch at Wallys and Breakfast at Monroes.
