Villa Calera is a typical centennial building area. A large two-story house that has been restored for rural tourism to give all the comforts of today, despite which retains its old world charm. It has all necessary equipment and appliances, is very comfortable and cozy, ideal for rest and tranquility. It has capacity for 10 people, although given the size of some rooms can use some extra increase that capacity.
Rueda is an attractive town which has been declared a Historic Monument and Spain, for its rich architectural legacy. It is situated 724 meters above sea level and its population of about 1300 residents. Part of the region of Tierra del Vino, and is in a beautiful natural enclave between two hills by which the rivers and Zapardiel Peru and a territory in which the pine forests and olive groves abound, as crops cereals. Not forgetting its expanses of vineyards, with grapes which produces one of the best white wines in the world, with Rueda.
We are part of the Wine Route of Rueda whose main attraction is the wine. Visit to underground ancient cellars, tasting sessions, bird watching, cultural tours in nearby towns like Tordesillas and Medina del Campo are a number of alternatives to the visitor.
Our central location in the community of Castilla y Leon is ideal for sightseeing as Salamanca, Zamora, Avila, Segovia are very close to us.
