About the property

Historic Townhome, 2 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, (Sleeps 4)

Reach out to us at 910-297-0145 with any and all questions and we hope our reviews speak for themselves!!!

This property is perfectly located on Front Street a few short blocks from the Historic District's restaurants and Shops! It is private but still just a stones throw away from everything that makes downtown so wonderful.

Perfectly laid out for a small family or 2 couples, this historic district townhome offers 2 upstairs bedrooms with walk in closets and private bathrooms for each bedroom. There is a half bath downstairs as well as a breakfast nook, dining area, well stocked kitchen, wonderful porch and swing. It was the first and is the longest running vacation rental in the historic district.

A few things that make us unique. We love to put modern furnishings in our historic properties. We also always have parking and this home has 2 designated spaces along with a small private fenced in area for grilling or for your fur-babies to roam just a bit. Did I mention the washer and dryer for those looking for longer stays or building a home, travelling medical, corporate, etc.

If you enjoy being walking distance to everything that downtown offers but maintaining a couple blocks buffer thereby keeping the evenings quiet then our Italianite townhome may be the perfect place for you to rest for a little while. It is the perfect location for downtown fun with a healthy splash of relaxation! The QUIET residential neighborhood and great location makes this a return to home year after year.

We wlcome pets with prior approval!

Stroll 2 blocks past the mansions for dining, a drink, shopping or a stroll down the Cape Fear River Boardwalk.

Well appointed

All linens, towels, incidentals, coffeemaker and my wife says I should mention the hair dryer is there, too.

Enjoy your stay

We keep coming back!

  • 5 of 5

Have stayed in a few of Dave and Pam's places. All are great and all are walking distance to restaurants. Even the lakehouse. Anyway, this is our favorite place because we can invite a friend or two to stay a couple days with out being all over each other.

Love the porch, their knowledge of the town and community and that think of everything.

great place!

Very Sweet House - Convenient to Historic District

  • 5 of 5

Spent 3 wonderful weeks in Wilmington. Photos and details on the website do a great job of describing this house. It was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Our dog enjoyed it as well, particularly the little fenced in front yard. Dave & Pam were responsive to questions and needs. A great VRBO experience.

Had a great girls weekend in Wilmington! Enough rooms and bathrooms for all to be extremely comfortable and all the comforts of home provided! Very convenient location, close to great restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The owners are very quick to respond and obviously take great care of the home. Best VRBO property I have had the pleasure of using!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It worked perfectly for us. Our dog especially loved that the front yard was fenced in, so he was able to run around some without being on a leash! The house is within walking distance to several great shops and restaurants, which was very nice. One thing that really makes this rental stand out is all the little extras such as soap dispensers in all the bathrooms, well stocked kitchen, Brita pitcher, beach chairs and much more. The beds are also comfortable and the large closets make it easy to keep the rooms clutter free during your stay. We stayed here while participating in the Beach to Battleship triathlon. It was right off the run course so was the perfect location for our friends and family to watch from. Only drawback was there was some street noise in the back bedroom, but overall we would definitely stay at this house again!

Owner's Response: We are so thrilled that you enjoyed our home during your visit to Wilmington for the race! We appreciate the notice you took with the effort we put in our homes for our guests comfort and enjoyment! Sorry about the noise...hopefully it was only because of the busy weekend. We look forward to hosting you again!

Our family loved our vacation in this sweet, clean, and well equipped home. We were able to easily walk to restaurants and the waterfront from the vacation home. The house was simply but elegantly decorated. If you like downtown dining, walking, and shopping, this house is a great choice!

About David Billitto

We moved from California in 2003 where we lived in San Diego and Palm Springs. We wanted a coastal community similar to San Diego and the ability to take an occasional surf. What we found was the perfect spot - 8 months of warm water, great year round weather, and the occasional 'cold' night to keep us honest. Sun, beaches, surf, friendly folks and a great historic downtown...we couldn't ask for more.

David Billitto purchased this townhome in 2003

Why David Billitto chose Historic District

We love the fact that you can walk to restaurants, theater, galleries, shops and the local pubs. We are always happy to offer advice on the town of wilmington and its myriad of businesses.

What makes this townhome unique

We enjoy having a cup of coffee while sitting on our front porch swing, saying 'hey' to our neighbors. We wave at the horse carriage as it strolls past our home on its way to work or after a busy day. As an FYI - They rescue all the horses and if you have a chance to support them, well, I am sure they would appreciate it. We are also just a 10-15 minute ride to the beaches (Wrightsville and Carolina Beach).
