Main House (3 Bedrooms, 4 1/2 Baths)
MOLOKAI SEA RANCH is a beautiful and very private home on Papohaku Beach, on the secluded west end of this magical island, overlooking sunsets over Diamond Head. The house stretches out along the beach, following the terrain of the land, with almost all rooms overlooking the pool, lawn, hot tub and broad beach and ocean. The huge central area includes a 60' long beachfront lanai, three separate living areas, kitchen, dinning area, library and TV all overlooking the pool and beach. Bedrooms offer options for king, queens, and twin beds, each with outdoor shower and a private lanai with its own additional entrance to the pool and beach.
The property is fully fenced and gated, yet is only 15 minute drive from the airport. It also includes beach paths, a fenced corral, regulation horseshoe pitch and many game and sitting areas overlooking the beach. A full-time live on property manager, residing some 200 yards from the main house, over sees lush tropical gardens and trails to the beach.
Often described by guest as a "private 5-star resort"
The property also offers a two-story art studio with natural light from all sides, available only for the main house guest at an additional rental fee.

The most relaxing Hawaiian vacation ever !!!
This place is the closest thing to paradise I've ever experienced...... be ready to relax and enjoy the sound of the ocean...... one of the only trips I didn't want to go home !!!!!!
Outstanding place to relax
We enjoyed the relaxation. the pool. the beach. and the impressive star gazing at night! We really appreciated the care taker Dave. and found him very helpful for any needs. If your looking for a place to relax and disconnect....it doesn't get any better!
Beautiful Home on the Gorgeous Beach!
We were totally blown away by the beauty of both the home and the view. The caretaker was very friendly and helpful and the home had literally EVERYTHING you needed to have a great stay! Very secluded and quiet location on the island. Sitting in the pool during the evenings looking up at the stars was a real highlight. My only comment to renters would be to bring as much food to the island as you can because grocery stores are alittle limited. Plus it will minimize the trips to town and keep you enjoying the home. Hopefully we can get the opportunity to return to the Island and home again.......it was by far the most relaxing vacation we've ever had to the hawaiin islands!
Magnificent home, awesome time!
We had a family reunion and enjoyed the visit. The house is big enough to accomodate a very big group of people, yet there was a "homey" feeling. Even though this is a luxurious home, one could not feel at home and comfortable. Running down to the beach and flying kites, or just going for a long walk were daily activities! Of course, the daily sunsets from the incredible lanai were the best!
We loved our visit and would come back in a heartbeat!
Gorgeous house; minor quibbles.
Most gorgeous house I've ever stayed in and the best equipped. Great temporary caretaker. Only complaints: rat in kitchen every morning; we finally caught one so maybe just one. It rained almost the whole time so I'm sure that was the problem. Dishwasher hardly ever worked and has apparently not worked well since October; we had to get the caretaker to keep starting it. Biggest complaint is the shrubbery around the pool. We loved sitting out there but couldn't see squat--might as well have been in Houston for that part of the trip.
Wow. Beautiful Home, Great Experience
As nice as the house looks online, it is even nicer in person. We rented the house for a full family vacation 6 kids, 7 adults to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. The house easily accomodated all of us and was the perfect jumping off point for discovering the charms of Molokai.
Highlights from the trip were
- walks on Popohaku beach. Amazing to have such a large beach to yourself. Not good for swimming because of the surf, but still spectacular to see.
- swimming at nearby Dixie Maru
- snorkeling with Tim from Molokai Fish and Dive
- hiking up to Halawa falls
Would definitely have done the Kaulapapa mule ride if we didn't have kids. (Kids under 16 aren't allowed down to Kaulapapa) However, the views of it from the overlook are spectacular.
If you are looking for a place with nightlife, Molokai is not the place. If you are the adventurous type looking for a quiet place to spend time with your friends and family, we had a wonderful experience.
