Breathtaking 1930's traditional townhouse located in the heart of the Westside. Very close to Beverly Hills, The Century City Mall, UCLA, shops, restaurants, places of worship, LA attractions, and only 15 minutes to the beach.

The unit has been tastefully updated with many of the period details intact. High ceilings, hardwood flooring throughout, recessed halogen lighting on dimmers, new 1080 pixel 40' Samsung LCD high definition flat screen TVs' in living room and master bedroom. New 'memory foam mattress' in each bedroom, extra large bath towels, 1000 thread count sheets, feather/down pillows, and bathrobes. The townhouse is approximately 1500 square feet, and has a fully equipped kitchen, and great formal dining room. Ideal for two couple's, but can comfortably accommodate five people.

Great Property Close to UCLA

My husband and I came to LA with my parents to visit my brother at UCLA. The property is well within walking distance to the campus, which was a plus for us. David was very prompt at answering any questions and communication between us was exceptional. We ended up coming in late due to a delayed flight but David still had someone there to greet us, give us a tour and explain the property to us. The apartment itself was charming and much larger than the photos indicated online. It was very spacious for a family of 4. The beds were comfortable, the shower worked well (although it was small) and the apartment was well stocked and well cleaned. On our check out day, David graciously gave us the option of a later check out and was very prompt in returning the security deposit. When we come back to visit, we will definitely be staying here again. Thanks for making our trip even more enjoyable.

Very private home in a quiet neighborhood

My family was very comfortable & really loved our home base during our recent west coast visit. The house was roomy with all the comforts & amenities we needed, plus the location was super close to everything we were planning to do in LA. Was happy to meet the owners who were super friendly to all of us too!

Perfect!!

What a wonderful gem tucked away just off of Wishire! The apartment was perfect for our family of four! David even had an extra bed set up, so the kids didn't have to share a bed! It was a short walk to an Italian restaurant the first night of our stay! The apartment is located in a lovely upscale neighborhood and parking was provided off-street! David was amazing to deal with, and we will definitely be calling on him again, the next time we need a place to stay in Westwood!

A hidden jewel

We have always stayed in a hotel right up the street so we knew the neighborhood and know it to be quiet and safe. The apartment is lovely- very comfortable and clean with all conveniences necessary for a very comfortable stay. It worked out so much better than staying in a hotel especially having a parking space!The owner David is great and very accommodating. We look forward to coming back to this apartment when we return to Los Angeles!!

Excellent value and location

We spent a week in the townhouse over the Christmas holidays with our children (8 and 9 years old) and it was very good value and an excellent location. The unit was clean and comfortable, and our host David was very thoughtful, for instance providing a 2nd bed so our children didn't have to sleep in the same bed. We enjoyed being able to walk to shops and local restaurants, and the location is convenient to both 405 and 10 Freeways and all Westside neighborhoods. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family -- the only reason for not giving an 'excellent' rating is that we found the kitchen and bathroom slightly dated and we could hear a moderate level of noise from the next door renters although it wasn't too intrusive. All in all, very good value and we would stay here again!

Right Choice for My Family

My family of 5 (8, 5, 2 year olds) visited LA over the winter break for a family reunion. We arrived on Christmas Day and departed on New Years eve. David was a wonderful host and his property was a perfect choice for our stay. My wife and I had lived in Santa Monica 15 years ago (before kids) so we knew our way around the westside of LA. We rented a car and the property's location is very convenient for travel by car. It is close to I-405, Wilshire Blvd and Santa Monica Blvd. From previous experience, public transportation is also readily available from the property's Westwood location. David provides private off street parting in the back of the unit and for our back end unit, there is an entrance facing the parking space just steps away. The unit itself is spacious and tastefully decorated. All the expected amenities are included (dishes, towels, condiments, etc). As described by other reviewers, the unit is older with charm. The unit's style is typical original architecture for the area. Having stayed in VRBOs around the states and around the world, this is a solidly good unit. David is very helpful and easy to work with. The only mild complaint/comment is that a prior renter cooked with heavy spices. You can smell it when you first walk into the unit. Not a big deal for us, but you will notice it. I would recommend the unit and would definitely consider renting again.
