There was a problem on check-in

There was no proof of my payment when I arrived. Thankfully, I had brought a copy of the receipt from vrbo. The staff was nice about it, but had to have some trust that I had really paid for the reservation. It was a problem of vrbo...they would never reply to my requests for clarity about the property details and I made a last-ditch call an got a human who was wonderful and agreed to call the hotel staff to confirm payment. I shouldn't have used vrbo.
