The pool side Lanai makes entertaining by the ocean a breeze and the Kitchen/Dinning room has spectacular views of the North Shore coast.
The media room provides entertainment for those that want to take in a movie while leaving the rest of the home tranquil. All bedrooms are spacious and offer decks and ocean, garden or mountain views.

All the amenities of a luxury home with granite counters, natural stone floors and fine teak furnishings make for an wonderful vacation in a rare, peaceful and private Hawaiian paradise.
Historic Haleiwa Town: Haleiwa is a wonderful historic Hawaiian town, which is considered the beginning of the North Shore. In Haleiwa you can enjoy shopping, a shave ice, set up a fishing charter, jet ski, stand up paddle, surf, scuba, swim with the sharks or take a snorkeling tour. There are also wonderful restaurants with views of the harbor and the amazing North Shore sunset.
World Class Water Sports: The North Shore is the ultimate destination to witness world class big wave surfing. Bonzai Pipeline, Sunset Beach and Waimea Bay are are located within the seven mile miracle know as the North Shore. From the Lanai of your vacation home you can see Tow-In surfers tackel 20 to 30 foot big waves when the swells roll in in the winter. Don't worry even when the waves are huge the reef breaks them down to gentle one foot bumps that roll up on the sand. Amazing Kite and wind surfers can be found doing their high flying manuvers just down the road.
Waialua - From Sugar Plantation to Pristine Coast: Today the little town of Waialua is home to dozens of small coffee and tropical fruit farms that stretch to the majestic mountains. Along the pristine white sand beachs are single family homes on large beach front parcels and your vacation home sits among them. Accross the street are fields. No hotels, no traffic, just the sound of the birds and the waves. The historical sugermill is a half mile away with local craftsmen and a farmer's market for all the locally grown produce and unique hawaiian crafts.

About Peter
I enjoy making this home a perfect second home for my family and I enjoy having guests see it as their second home as well. I believe in life balance and our time in Hawaii gives me that relaxation, play and recharge I need to return to my work as psychologist. I enjoy kayaking, standup paddle boarding, biking surfing and swimming with the sea turtles in between home improvement projects when I am staying in our Hawaii home.
Peter purchased this House in 2005

Photography of this property is GREAT... Everything Else, MEH
This is a great location, right on the North Shore and right on the beach. But the advertisement is not fully correct. I wouldn't call this a luxury estate. Sure, it's a large house, but far from luxury. We paid over quite a chunk of money for a week to stay here and compared to other rentals at that price we got gypped. While Sahara was amazing, the house didn't live up to our expectations. The "lanai" living is only for the downstairs. The upstairs has several sliding glass doors, not an open concept like you are led to believe. And those sliding glass doors are not easy to open and none have screens so be prepared for bugs. The only way to cool down the house is to open every door and window and hope for wind. The pool is NOT heated, only "solar" heated, aka, if it's sunny it will feel a little warmer than arctic water. And we could never get the lights to work so once it got dark it was unusable.
The house is NOT suitable at all for elderly, infirm or handicap. We booked this house for my Father who is in a wheelchair as a last vacation. It looked perfect in the photos. The "handicap" accessible house is a joke. There are no actual beds downstairs, not comfortable sleeping arrangements at all and the restroom cannot be used as an ADA restroom. Also, without help, a person in a wheelchair cannot even get into the house. I have photos of the struggle we went through to make this house work for my father. It is frustrating to have this be his last big vacation and to see the struggle we all went through to make it work for him. Shame on me for misinterpreting the ad, re-reading it I would have never booked this property for my Dad. We wanted him to have a great luxurious last vacation where he could wake up in his private room and look out at the beach. He was never able to do this.
I would recommend this property to those wanting to travel in large groups and have the money to spend; but if you need any form of ADA accessibility or want something luxurious, do not go here. Oh and when you check out, plan to be rushed out the door with cleaners waiting in their cars for you to leave. Talk about awkward. Oh and you cannot see the sunset from the property. You can see the sky reflect a pretty color but otherwise nope. You can however watch the sunrise.
Very good space for a multigenerational family
Great setting in a very convenient location.
The house has a beautiful view of the beach & ocean. We were able to walk the beach and see turtles, surfers & even whales on 3 different days.
The outdoor area was wonderful. Every afternoon & evening we enjoyed the lounge chairs, pool and tiki hut.
The house does need some minor upkeep. Several screens need repair, the upstairs oven needs a good cleaning and the porch cushions should be washed. Otherwise the House was neat and very well equipped. We would consider visiting again.
The property was gorgeous and just as the photos detailed.
This was the perfect spot for our family get-together. Eleven people had plenty of room and lots to do with the pool, the beachfront and all supplied equipment. Thanks to Sahara for seeing that we had needed baby equipment and for answering all related questions immediately. A totally relaxing place away from tourist crowds.
All we needed was that sea turtle on the beach!
We rarely left for 2 weeks it was that good
We stayed in the same neighbourhood last year and loved it but this year topped it with this place. We rented bikes for the whole time (the owner no longer does this, we used northshorebikerentals which was easy and reasonable) so went into town almost every day on the bike path (it goes most but not all the way) but otherwise stayed on the property the whole time as we didn't want to leave. The beach is almost deserted and no one ever used it near our property so it is practically a private beach. There is shallow reef which blocks most of the high wave action. The beach and ocean right in front of the property is the most optimal in the area because the sandy bottom and deeper area to swim along the beach is largest right here. In other places the water is almost not useable due to shallow depth and rocky bottom. We had small children in the ocean regularly, and swam daily. The paddleboards are well worth it if you have a bit of experience/skill as it is still wavy (in winter) but manageable once you get out over the first reef. The pool is awesome though a bit cool if you are not in direct sun. It is heated but not that much (I think it varies based on solar panel heating from the roof). We used it regularly for the kids though not as much as the beach and the ocean.
The house and property are awesome. There were some minor issues but mostly handled well and quickly by the local host who lives nearby. The house is huge and ideal for families. There are three king bedrooms though only one has a private ensuite and another has an almost private ensuite that also has a door into the laundry room. The third king bedroom has a bathroom down the hall, and shares with the fourth bedroom on the upper floor that has a queen bed. There are basically two living rooms and two kitchens and two dining tables, one on each floor. The downstairs AV room has three pull out couches I believe. The downstairs living room has walls that open up to the deck and the ocean which is fantastic. The lawn and outdoor deck are great with a covered outdoor table for meals (we used it for lunch every day). It is all basically awesome and we loved it. The wrap around deck on the upper level with outdoor cushioned seating is perfect all day and especially in the evening. We spent a lot of time there as well. Incredible view of ocean and beach. The luxury moniker is mostly accurate. A few small repairs and updates would clinch it. Location location !!
COMPLETELY AMAZING- ABSOLUTE PARADISE
We were completely blown away by this house from the first moment we got there! Spacious and beautiful, with everything you could possibly need for a perfect vacation. The property manager was super helpful and always available to us. The house was very clean, well stocked, the pool was amazing, beds were super comfy... Literally all the comforts of home but in PARADISE!!! This was our first time staying on the North Shore, and we will never stay "in town" again! From the sea turtles on the beach (right in front of the house), to the almost private beach (we only saw the neighbors on occasion)... We had so many plans that we ended up cancelling because we couldn't bring ourselves to leave this house!!! We have very high expectations, and they were far exceeded here. We will definitely be coming back!
Perfect!
We had an absolute blast at the house we rented. I couldn't believe we had our own pool and were also just steps from the ocean - and that turtles came within several yards of the shore! There was tons of space to spread out in and the house was nicely decorated with big (three kings), comfortable beds. Within a 40 minute drive we went zip lining, snorkeling, shrimp truck sampling, hiking (?) to Waimea Falls, shopping in Haleiwa (5 minutes), and we rented scooters, visited the Dole Plantation and went to a Luau. The guys watched football on the widescreen TV (one of 6 or 7 in the house) and drank beer in the tiki bar while the ladies chatted in the other outside covered area and watched the kids swim. Our "hostess", Sahara, was a sweetie and lived just a few houses away. She quickly showed us where everything was and how to use it, gave us a heads-up when she was coming to move out the garbage cans, and was there in an instant the few times we needed some help. Several times I heard someone say that they couldn't have designed a more perfect place to vacation! It was perfect!!
