About John Relyea
Designing and building is a passion of mine. When I came across this property with a sweeping view of the Glen/Jackson Bridge I just had to purchase it. At the time I had no idea what I was going to build on this lot. After two months of pen to paper I came up with this home I call “Bridgeview”. I look forward to sharing this home with you. I know you will love this place as much as I do. John Relyea

We had a nice time at St Bridgeview!!
We really enjoyed the stay at Bridgeview! Love the view with beautiful breathtaking nature. Saw the humming birds, but did not get a chance to see dears. House was very beautiful and love the architecture. Above all place was very clean and spotless. When I was looking for a place I particularly look for a place which is clean. I was so happy that I found this beautiful place. This was our very first trip to Portland, OR and really enjoyed our vacation staying at this cozy place!!
A Great Spot
The Bridge and View make the place. A great spot to base camp from.
What an incredibly novel property. Extremely high-end amenities throughout. We loved it! Thank you.
So much room, clean!
My wife and I, my grown son, his wife and son, traveled from Alaska and visited our other son, wife and grandson in Portland. This location made it so suitable for travel to sites such as Multnomah Falls, Haystack Rock and Astoria. The availability of BBQ, oven and microwave, cooking pans, pots and dishes saved us a mint in dining costs with so many people. As a family, we are still speaking to each other after a week together due to the number of bedrooms and living areas to get away and get together. The short walk to the fish hatchery made for an incredible experience with our grandson. You must be aware of the 205 interstate bridge above the home has some noise but the real surprise was the loud rumble and vibration caused by the frequent BN & SF trains passing out front. Great for kids! We enjoyed almost daily visits from the deer and humming birds came right up to the balcony to feed. Yes, I would certainly endorse anyone with a large family staying here.
Very inviting, clean, and nice!
Just far enough away from the city, and yet close enough to access all of the restaurants, attractions, and activities. It is about a 20 minute drive to downtown Portland. Very spacious and clean. John was very accommodating and responsive to our needs. We enjoyed our time at this home. Private with lots of parking. There is a view of the Columbia river from the living room, and the bedrooms are on the back of the home with plenty of privacy. The entrance to the freeway system is just about 5 minutes from the home. Walking and jogging paths are close by.
Nice place. Owner is very easy to work with.
Everything went very well. We stayed for over a month and we had no problems with the owner or the property. We would recommend this property to anyone. Everything went well.
Our property has a walking or bike path that takes you to a natural trail and the local fish hatchery. Behind the hatchery is another set of trails that lead to a creek and ponds where you observe the local wild life here. You can also ride your bike across the Glen/Jackson bridge and ride the local train called MAX to down town Portland. Quickly reach the Columbia River Gorge for World Class Windsurfing.
