Something for all members of the family and all types of interests. First, the beautiful, uncrowded beaches of North Carolina's Crystal Coast. This community is family oriented, but also has great restaurants and night life nearby.

The duplex is brightly decorated and fully equipped with all the amenities that you would want at home. Gourmet kitchen in upstairs great room is a terrific gathering place for a crowd for meals or entertainment and opens onto a deck with a close-up view of the beach behind. The private wooden walkway to the beach allows quick, convenient access for sunbathing or water activities. An outdoor fish cleaning table with water is available for your sportsmen or shell collectors.

Indoors there is a full compliment of entertainment with 5 televisions with premium cable channels and DVD players, stereo equipment and free wireless internet. The master bedroom is enormous and also faces the beach with its own private deck.

Nearby communities offer all types of sporting and touring activities including the world-renowned North Carolina Aquarium which is a must for children (and adults, too), historic Beaufort and Swansboro, Wilmington and New Bern. Antiques, charming towns with gift shops and outlet stores are also available nearby. For the kids there are water parks, mini-golf, go-karts and much more. Several golf courses are within 15 minutes, and there are boat rentals and fishing charters as well. A number of locations offer kayaking, windsurfing, scuba diving, horseback riding, and nature tours.

Gorgeous home with top floor living room with fantastic views of the ocean right out your door, private walkway onto beach that is uncrowded and family friendly, open and covered decks, gourmet kitchen, hot and cold enclosed shower outside, seashell and fish cleaning station, lots of deck and beach furniture. Nearby are lots of attractions and actiivities, good restaurants.

Wonderful oceanfront duplex!

We loved staying at this spacious duplex. We've been to Emerald Isle many years which is our favorite place to stay on the Crystal Coast, but this was the first time renting via VRBO.. The place was well maintained and furnished. The kitchen was fabulous for cooking all meals! (We have found that getting our own fresh seafood from Captain Willis' seafood and cooking it ourselves is better than what we'd get at the local seafood restaurants.) The living room was very comfortable and we loved the 2nd story deck overlooking the ocean. There were plenty of great books and magazines for your reading pleasure - and puzzles! The owners were extremely nice to deal with and helpful. The ONLY downside to renting this place is that the realty company, Century 21 who was handling the payment, would not accept a credit card for payment (!), so we had to drive across the bridge over to Cape Carteret to get a personal check from Wells Fargo. (Who takes personal checks anymore, much less demands one?!) But that had nothing to do with the owners or the place itself! I'd definitely recommend staying here!

Great Beachside House

This beachside house was great. It had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation time at the beach! The kitchen had anything and everything you could possibly need to prepare meals. The house was very clean and comfortable. The views from the back deck are extraordinary! I would recommend this house. We will be back!

Our stay at this vacation...

Our stay at this vacation home was wonderful. This was our second experience using VRBO and our second stay in the area. The accomodations were very comfortable. There is nothing better than being oceanfront. The kitchen very well equipped, everything including AC in good working condition. We would love to return.

Historic nearby towns of Swansboro, Beaufort, also Wilmington, Hammocks Beach State Park where Blue Beard may have buried his treasure, beautiful natural environmental areas along Bogue Sound. Public boat launch and beach access at many locations along the island. Great bike paths!
