This beautiful 1500 square foot unit (342 Forest Hills Drive) has been completely updated and remodeled with a modern open kitchen and open floor plan. The kitchen has brand new stainless appliances and slab granite counter tops. There is a new plasma TV in every room. 42' in the living room and 37' in each of the 2 bedrooms. The two bathrooms have been completely updated as well with travertine tile.
This is an incredible vacation experience, one you will not likely forget and one in which you will want to come back to again and again.It is luxuriously decorated and sits in a serene setting with breathtaking mountain views. There are an abundance of fruit trees, heated pools and hot tubs just steps away.
Our home is located in a guard-gated community. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer and a garage.
Nearby world-famous public golf courses, Gary Player and Pete Dye Westin, are available for use. .
Take advantage of the many additional activities nearby, such as World-class golf, tennis, catch and release fishing just steps from the backyard. You'll find shopping, restaurants, and cinemas at the nearby hotspot 'The River'. Downtown Palm Springs and famous El Paseo Avenue, known by some to be 'the Beverly Hills of the desert', is just a 15 minute drive away.
This community hosts the Dinah Shore Golf Tournament annually and the many tennis tournaments.
Beds includes a king bed in the Master bedroom and two queen beds in the guest bedroom.
This facility is great for swimming, hiking, walking, jogging or bicycle rides.

About Jan Ashberg
My husband and I retired to Rancho Mirage in 1994 and have been living in Mission Hills ever since. We love playing tennis everyday and enjoy walking and biking everywhere. Our family frequently visits as this is a perfect place to vacation. With all of our friends here we can't think of a better place to retire and enjoy the golden years of our lives.

The VBRO website advertises that credit cards are accepted. When I sent the owner an email requesting that I put the rental on a credit card, she did not respond. I waited several days and called her and she told me that she does not accept credit cards because they charge too much and that she only uses VRBO to get customers. She asked for payment in full (rent, cleaning fee, city tax, and damage deposit) one month in advance. Due to all the fraud that goes on I did not feel comfortable but I sent her the money as she requested. When we arrived both coffee makers had not been cleaned. Several of the pots and pans had to be cleaned as they were dirty. Most of the pots and pans did not have matching lids. We ran out of toilet paper on day two of seven. There were no paper towels. How do you clean the glass dining room table without paper towels? There were no bars of soap in the bathrooms. There was half used shampoo and body wash taken from some hotel. We could only find one washcloth, the second was a kitchen wash cloth. The fabric mesh patio chairs were ripped and could not be sat on. The window in the laundry room looked like it had not been cleaned in years. The floor lamp in the living room did not have a light bulb and we were not able to find any lightbulbs. This unit was priced on the high side of comparable units in the country club. Our daughter rented the same floorplan in the complex and only paid 53% of what we paid per night. It had recently been remodeled and was immaculate compared to ours. We feel that we paid way too much for the quality of the unit. We were very disappointed. Ron H

when I came over to the condo to see if everything is ok, and if you like the unit the ladies said, I don't like it I love it. You have my email address and phone number and I never heard about your complaints until now, Jan 23, 2017. If you would have contacted me I would have resolved the problems in ample time.
With on the page, it clearly states that I do not accept credit cards.

The home is stocked with toiletries and upon request, I do ask the guest to contact me if anything is needed

Comfortable, good location, well outfitted
Thanks for a great stay. The home / condo is lovely. Very large bedrooms, large living room , nice kitchen, full size laundry. Includes a parking garage to keep you car out of the sun. Nicely located adjacent to the Mission Hills Country Club. As VRBO owners ourselves, we would certainly rent this condo again.
Everything you need in a practical unit with an excellent location.
Plus....very close to the excellent tennis courts.
Clean and very well equipped.
The unit was as described.
We had no need to call for any assistance.
If you want the Ritz Carlton....go ahead.
But for the price, location and functionality of this rental....why bother?
If I was going to make one recommendation to the owner, it would be to put in a hot water circulation unit so that the master bedroom gets hot water quicker.

MISSON HILLS CONDO
GREAT condo with all the amenities that you could eat in or dine out. Pool close to property. Owner great at getting back to e-mails. Would and have already recommended this property to a friend.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable condo!
We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. What a find! I almost hate to write this review because I don't want anyone to discover this gem. Tastefully decorated with new appliances, this property has it all. The pool is literally steps away and we had it all to ourselves our entire stay. Shops at The River, the Living Desert and downtown Palm Springs are all a short drive away. Jay (owner) and his mom Jan (who lives locally) are wonderful hosts and made booking a breeze. Family-friendly escape to the sun!
My family of four (including two young children) stayed in the condo during our recent Spring Break, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the surrounding area.
The condo was perfectly set up for a family with spacious bedrooms featuring attached bathrooms and a great room that was situated between the two sleeping areas, providing a common area for everyone to spend time together as well as wonderful privacy for everyone, when needed. The kitchen is well-stocked with plenty of cookware, silverware, and drinkware, and there are plenty of towels, pillows, and blankets.
The two outdoor eating areas are very nice, and we especially enjoyed waving to residents driving by in their golf carts. There is a pool and hot tub located less than 100 yards away, and the tennis courts are a short walk away. We enjoyed going for walks and morning runs, and then spending time at the pools or at one of the nearby attractions during the afternoon, as the condo is very centrally located and provides easy access to the water park, zoo, shopping, dining, children's museum, etc.
The owner and his mother were very responsive to the few questions we had, and both were very accommodating. In fact, we had such a spectacular visit that we are eagerly awaiting our next trip and have recommended this condo to a few different families who are planning future trips to Rancho Mirage.
