3 bedroomed character property just 5 minutes walk from Skipton's High Street
About Beverley Bell
We have lived in and around Skipton for the past 26 years and purchased Number 36 six years ago as our family home, before deciding that we believed it would make a fantastic holiday home due to it's size and location. Check out our website at www.skiptonholidaysnumber36.com, for late deals and offers. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and the Yorkshire Dales on the doorstep we feel it has lots to offer for a great holiday or short break. The Dales provide one of the best walking areas in the country and as keen walkers ourselves we get our boots on whenever time allows. We live nearby and lovingly look after Number 36 ourselves, to ensure it is furnished, maintained and cleaned to a very high standard. We have been married for 36 years and have 2 grown up sons. We are now proud granparents to our grandson Stanley, born 10th May 2017.
Beverley Bell purchased this House in 2013
Why Beverley Bell chose Skipton
We bought this property just over 6 years ago and have upgraded and modernised it, then decided that it would make superb holiday accommodation, as it is something we have always wanted to do. We have tried to make the property as family or couple friendly as possible, and believe the position of the property makes it an ideal location to explore Skipton and the fabulous surrounding areas. The Yorkshire Dales offer some of the finest limestone scenery in the country, from crags to pavements and caves. Steam trains make regular appearances on the famous Settle - Carlisle line. The rooms are all of a generous proportion with leather and fabric sofas in the light and airy lounge, and a wood floor compliments both the dining room and entrance hall. We have decorated the inside and outside sympathetically and really believe this will be one of the premier holiday lets in Skipton. Great place and location
The house was lovely and well equipped. Very clean and great location. Would recommended to anyone coming to Skipton
Well presented property in great location
My communication with Beverley and Andrew was easy and any queries quickly answered. They ensured No. 36 was going to meet our needs with options on bed combinations (twin beds or super king ). Putting a stair gate up and supplying the high chair were all no problem
On arriving with my son his partner and their two young children, Beverley and Andrew were there to welcome us and show us everything. No.36 was absolutely spotless with a number of extra touches to make our stay comfortable and relaxing.
We stayed for 5 nights for the preparations of and attending a wedding. However it’s a perfect location for anyone wanting to see the sights and on the edge of the Dales, a 10 minute walk and you are also in Skipton town centre.
We had 2 cars and parking outside the house was never a problem
I throughly recommend No.36 and will definitely look to book again for family visits.
Perfect place for Skipton and the Dales
Andrew and Bev's property was excellent. A beautiful house with everything you need and more. Great for walking 5 minutes into Skipton and all it has to offer and further afield into the Dales. Will hopefully be back again. Thank you Andrew and Bev.
Fabulous cottage in central location
We had a great stay in your lovely cottage. Facilities were excellent and the house was spotlessly clean. We all loved the beds - they were very comfy, in particular the super king size master bed. It was fabulous to be able to leave the car and walk in to town so easily. We'd love to come back one day and spend more time in the area.
