The RSPB Wildbrooks are almost opposite the cottage and offers a gentle stroll through woodland if you prefer not to take the car. With spectacular views over the Pulborough Brooks it is an outlook that changes throughout the year. Parham House and Gardens are also nearby and Petworth House and Park is within five miles. To the south and south east there is easy access on to the South Downs Way.
