Honeysuckle Cottage is a lovely Grade II Listed cottage on a quiet lane leading down to the River Leach. The cottage is listed, with an abundance of original features, including large fireplaces with log-burners, exposed beams and two traditional old flagstone staircases to the bedrooms. The period features are complimented with modern luxuries for your convenience and relaxation
The kitchen has recently been refitted and includes a washing machine, dishwasher and cooker/hob. The kitchen looks out onto the garden and down across fields towards the river. The bathroom has also been recently been refitted, with a large shower and modern sink looking onto the lane.
There are two large bedrooms with exposed beams and views across the fields. Each bedroom is accessed by their own set of stone stairs - as the property was once two separate workers cottages. The bedrooms are setup as one double and a twin room, although an extra bed could be added to the twin.
The lounge is lovely and welcoming, with a large open fireplace with log burner, comfortable seating for four people, a large TV and soft lighting. The room has lots of original features including exposed beams, original terracotta tiled floor, exposed stone work and latch doors. Views into the lane and onto the garden.
There is a separate Dining Room with open fireplace and views into the garden and across the fields. There is an old farmhouse kitchen table in the Dining Room with seating for four.
There is large south facing garden with lawn and mature planting at the rear of the garden with table and chairs for outside dining. During the summer, guests are also able to use the large outdoor heated swimming pool - times to be coordinated with the owner to ensure privacy - to swim or just to lounge on the deckchairs. There is a BBQ and firepit for those lazy evenings too!
