The Symphony House was a Rhapsody!
We were very pleased with this delightful, historic property. The furnishings were beautiful and fit the house very well. The property management was very efficient and welcoming. The property had everything we needed and more. The location was perfect for visiting our son and his family who lived need by. We were able to walk there! Thanks for making this a great Christmas visit.
We Loved Our Stay at Symphony House!
We had a wonderful time in this home for three nights over Thanksgiving. The location is perfect for walking into the downtown area and exploring area restaurants. Since we were preparing a Thanksgiving feast for nine people, a well-equipped kitchen was a must, and this home had one. Though only three of us stayed in the home, we asked permission to host six other family members for Thanksgiving, and were granted that permission. In fact, the management provided an extra table for our use, and we had a great time together.
We were especially impressed with the beautiful furnishings befitting this older, historic home. The beds were very comfortable and it was a relaxed environment for us to enjoy. We will definitely be back again!
Little Red House
Upon entering the little red house one feels right at home. Each room welcomes you and encourages you to explore. The house is in walking distance to all the sites, restaurants, and the Central Market. Short car ride to the Amish countryside.
Oh the quilts! We will recommend this lovely home to friends and family. Draydray
Cute, quaint and clean
Two day stay after Christmas. Nice neighborhood! Clean, comfortable and homey! Easy checkin/check out
Beautiful and cozy, home away from home.
We stayed in this charming house for the weekend. The house is very quaint with unique characteristics and a beautiful backyard to sit outside on gorgeous nights. The house was very well maintained and the property managers were extremely friendly. It's a few blocks from the center of town so it's a perfect location with so much to do! The Lancaster Brewing Company, which is right around the corner, was incredible and a must visit! Had a fantastic weekend and will definitely return!! Thank you!
Perfect place for a weekend getaway!
We stayed at this charming house on Valentine's Day weekend and it was a perfect weekend getaway. The house is very cozy and is close to all of the city's restaurants, pubs and attractions. We had a fabulous time and highly recommend it. One of the best parts of our trip was that we never had to use the car after we arrived. We walked everywhere - Central Marketing, local restaurants, pottery painting, pubs, etc. We look forward to staying there again the future!
The City of Lancaster is the oldest inland city in the United States, located close to the Amish countryside. The City boasts a rich life, with a wonderful theatre, art galleries, restaurants, shopping, and even a top notch minor league ball club -- the Barnstomers. Outside the city are picturesque Amish Farms, exceptional antiquing, as well as local attractions like the Wilber Chocolate Factory, Landis Valley Museum, and Mount Gretna (a gem of architecture and historical arts community). A quilting paradise, Lancaster has a rich tradition for needlework of all kinds. There is an exceptional quilt museum, and quilt and fabric stores too numerous to count. We can arrange individualized quilting lessons at your request. From Lancaster it is also just 75 minutes or less to Gettysburg or other Civil War attractions. The City also has a beautiful old train station serviced by Amtrak.
