Adorable cottage

  • 4 of 5

Very cute place with lots of extras for the kids. There were bikes, scooters, beach equipment, books (adult & kids), toys/trinkets for younger ones. Plenty of beds, but it would have been nice to have one bigger bed as I think they were full and then twins. But not a deal breaker. I liked there was one tv in one bedroom no more in the other bedrooms. (We monitor what our kids view and it is a hassle if there is a tv in every room!) Overall very quaint and well equipt! Enjoyed our stay.

Best Girls Trip Ever - The perfect home!

  • 5 of 5

This house was absolutely adorable in decoration and spotlessly clean. It had tremendous storage space, nooks and crannies, plenty of room for everyone to spread out and a nice big flat yard to enjoy. It was an incredibly well stocked house with lots of bikes and everything you need for the beach and kitchen. Larry and Laurien were great hosts. Very helpful about activities in Holland and the surrounding area and they ensured we had everything we needed.

I highly recommend this house for your Holland stay. The location is perfect just off the entrance to the State Park with a couple of restaurants and a lovely little beach in easy walking distance. We will be back!

Perfect place for our 3 generation family vacation

  • 5 of 5

The cottage truly was charming and made a delightful home base for our vacation. Our two married children and two grandchildren joined us for the week. We found the home well stocked and immaculately clean. The location was great for the beach, although we experienced a fair amount of rain during our week. But not to fear, the converted front porch and living area gave us ample room to work puzzles, play games, and watch movies. We loved it!

Just right for us!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful week staying in this vacation rental. The pictures accurately portrayed the home. It was clean and well kept, beautifully decorated for vacation. The location is such that there is constant movement in the area...cars, bikes, walkers, joggers and one morning we even saw a segway! All that you need to enjoy the area is provided at the house. We spent our days biking, riding to the beach, sunsets, reading, and relaxing. This was the best stocked rental we have ever experienced. Thank you for a great week.

Perfect beach holiday!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 4 stayed here for 2 weeks at the end of August 2012. The house is great, and the location is perfect! The house has been very nicely renovated, and is extremely clean. The owners have thought of just about everything you could possibly need. We rode the bikes almost everyday down to the amazing beach at Holland State Park. It's about a 4 minute ride. The house is on the Holland/Grand Haven bike trail. There was lots of room, and we enjoyed every part of this great house. The area is absolutely beautiful, and Lake Michigan was amazing! There is a pack and play, high chairs, beach chairs and toys, and even a baby trailer for the bikes. This home is the perfect vacation get away for the family with small children.

The owners were prompt and easy to deal with. They take excellent care of the house, and yard. There was a little more traffic than we were expecting, but it is so close to both lakes that it's understandable and tolerable. There are great restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, marina, ice cream shops, and beaches.

This was one of the best vacations we have ever had! We will definitely be back. Thank you so much Lorien and Larry for sharing your beautiful vacation home with our family!
