And in the Summer just 5.5 blocks to the Telluride Festival Grounds via the scenic San Miguel River Trail. No car necessary, you can walk to everything!

In 1974 I set out to explore the beautiful Rocky Mountains. I found myself in Telluride, a historic Victorian town nestled in the San Juan Mountains of southwest Colorado. Telluride captivated me from the very beginning, and I have made this community my home for over 40 years.

I recognize the importance of giving back to the community that has cared for my family and friends over the years. I have devoted myself to Telluride throughout my entire adult life, actively engaging in community events and participating at the local level. I have proudly served on numerous Boards, Committees and Fundraisers.

The Town of Telluride is steeped in art, history, and culture. I strongly believe in supporting our local artists and musicians, and will take every chance to do so. Whether it is through the activities of the Ah Haa Art School, the summer festivals, or supporting local theatre troupes, I have enjoyed my involvement with the arts community over the years.

I am the proud mother of a son Tyler who graduated from Duke University and graduated Emory University and now lives happily in Atlanta, GA with his wife and daughter and son!

I look forward to welcoming you to town should you choose Telluride as your next vacation retreat. You are welcome to use me as a resource or simply a travel guide, as I have lived here for 40 years and know every nook and cranny of this charming town.

Location, location, location! As a long-time Telluride resident, I recognize the importance of convenience when visiting a new town. No need for a car when you stay at my Coronet Creek condo. Just walk out the door and you are steps from the River Trail which meanders through town to the gondola, Town Park, chair 7 or just a for a stroll. Close to grocer, liquor store, and center of town, this is the place to be.

What makes this condo unique

Cornet Creek condos are perfectly situated at the corner of Pacific Ave and S. Davis Street. This very intimate and quiet commercial corner of town offers some of the best conveniences in all of Telluride. Just steps from your front door are the following indulgences; the lovely 'Siam' Thai restaurant, the new and popular 'There' tavern, and the super convenient 'Pacific Street Liquors' for all of your spirit needs. No need to even leave the block. But of course, you should!

By the way, Telluride is a very easy and lovely town to explore on foot, or you can always hop on our FREE public bus named the 'Galloping Goose' which also conveniently stops at the Pacific Street corner just steps away from the condo.

Cool in Telluride

This was a great find! We had a winter week, and so close to everything. Walk to the town, to the lifts, walk to the restaurants, walk to the supermarket, walk to the liquor store!! Wonderful location, well furnished and equipped. And when we called for service it was taken care of within 30 minutes. Ideal for any group. Would not hesitate to recommend or take again.

Telluride summer traveller

The condo is perfectly situated in town. Everything the town of Telluride has to offer is within walking distance, but this condo is additionally convenient in that it's a short 2 block walk to the newly renovated Clark's grocery store. Also just 2 blocks from Siam, a great Thai restaurant. The views from the living area and balcony are AMAZING. We stayed 3 weeks and appreciated and enjoyed the view every single day. We found the condo to be clean and well equipped. The decor is nice and simple and without clutter, which is everything we want in a rental. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great Trip

This was a very nice condo for the money and put us right in the heart of Telluride. We were able to walk to the river in the morning and downtown at night. I can't recommend Telluride enough.

Very convenient and clean

The condo worked out great for our group. It was summer time for a wedding so it was nice we were in town. I would want to be closer to lifts if we were there for winter. But all in all this place was very clean. Maybe some things missing, but I would stay there again in summer.

Decent condo, had a few frustrations

Arrived at the condo at 10:30 on a Sunday night. The rental agent had given us the door code for the exterior door and promised that the unit door would be unlocked with keys waiting for us inside. The exterior door code worked great, but the unit door was locked. When we called the contact number, we got no answer. After over an hour of trying to contact someone via phone, email, and text, we ended up going to a hotel for the night. The rental agent was very apologetic the next morning and promised to reimburse us for the hotel. Had this been the only issue, I would give four or five stars instead of three. Furnishings were nice and the view from the deck was good. The kitchen was less equipped than what we have typically seen in the past when using VRBO, and had no kitchen towels or dish cloths. On Wednesday, my wife chose to relax in the condo while my daughter and I went for a hike. Unfortunately, the owners chose that day to do some remodeling in the unit on the other side of our living room wall... Continuous banging for multiple hours.... Not a real relaxing day.

Overall, we were satisfied with our stay, but these little hiccups certainly detracted from it.

Owner's Response: In response to this review, I acknowledge and take complete responsibility for the unfortunate circumstances the guests found themselves in upon arrival. Recently I made a change in management services in order to better serve my guests. Having just made the transition from old management company to new, there was a breakdown in communication as to who was handling what. It was totally avoidable and I was devastated to learn of the lack of response. In hopes of remedying the situation, we reimbursed the guest for their hotel stay. In addition to the services the new company offers, they have provided me with an audit of inventory with recommendations for improvements. I purchased a new patio bistro set so guests can enjoy the spectacular views from the deck along with other improvements. I have not been made aware of any lack of inventory in fact there are (12) dishes, glasses, flatware, etc. with all the pots, pans and utensils for cooking. For a 3BR accommodation this seems more than adequate. I am always open to suggestions and can supply needed items on demand if notified. It is unfortunate that the neighboring unit owner was working on his unit during the final day of the guests’ visit. I would have immediately contacted the neighboring unit owner if I had been alerted to the nuisance. I respond here in detail because it is important to me that each guest leave Telluride (and my condo) with a positive experience and an intent to return soon!

No car is necessary because everything is within walking distance. The free gondola will take you on a 12 minute ride to the town of Mountain Village. You may use Telluride's free transportation via the Galloping Goose which loops through town every 15 minutes, pick up the Goose just steps out your front door. The gondola operates from 7am to midnight daily.
