Perfect vacation setting! Wonderful unit. The location could not have been better. We loved the privacy of the condo, combined with use of the amenities at the Sebastion, such as the pool and hot tubs.. A perfect combination. The town is at your doorstep and we were fortunate to have musical performances 1 block away every evening during our stay. Fireworks were on display one night that we could watch from the balcony. Despite the folks that came into the village for the show, by 9:00 everything had quieted down . We did sleep with the windows open and we had no noise or interruption during the night. The shuttle bus stop is directly across the street, which you can take to the other end of vail, ski lifts, vail west, the library, ice skating and more.

The condo was pristine and had a nice rustic feel. The master bedroom has a sleep sofa so if we had needed, our kids could have slept there. The kitchen has everything you will need for cooking, and the pantry is well stocked with staples. There is a small grocery store by the front door in case you have a yearn for something you forgot. You can get a pizza from the restaurant there as well, or saunter into any of the many wonderful restaurants within walking distance. Park your car in the garage and forget about it. Or take the shuttle from the airport, you won't need a car. Mary was a delight to work with and we look forward to staying in her home again. Definately would recommend this Condominium for your next Vail vacation.

Perfect Accommodations! Very clean and professional…just like a hotel but with Space!

We truly enjoyed staying at this condo in Vail. It's in a perfect location with added benefits such as ski lockers, parking and privileges at the Sebastian. It was well finished with a complete kitchen, extra linens and soap/shampoo etc. We will definitely stay here again. In addition, the owner (Mary) was a pleasure to work with and very responsive to all our inquiries.

Great for Cold Weather Stay Only

  • 2 of 5

The condo was very nicely decorated. The master bedroom was huge & 3 full baths. Something in the condo made us sneeze & lower entry. For June, it was very hot in the condo and no air conditioning. We knew that prior to renting the condo but we were told that fans were available. Yes, they were available but with limited outlets to plug them in. Had to make a choice of lights on or fans on. Couldn't hear the TV with the fans going & wanted to watch the NBA playoffs. Lots of noise at night from trucks & cars when the windows were open which made it hard to sleep. The condo is in a great location however we decided to move to a hotel after two sleepless nights. The owners did offer us a condo down the road to move to but it was not what we wanted. No refund or discount offered. Disappointed but we do love Vail.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the complement on our decor and acknowledging our pre-booking description of fans used in lieu of AC in this building. We now have quieter, more efficient, oscillating tower floor fans with companion oscillating tower table fans for the occasional warm days in the mountains. We also have electrical outlet strips attached to all side tables, which can be left on the table top or dropped behind the side table. As described, our location in the middle of the village provides short walking access to the restaurants, shops and bars but also means you may hear people in the street. As further described, you have the convenience of the free electric passenger shuttles that stop near the condo but may hear them make stops as well. Although no private vehicles are allowed on Meadows Drive in front of our building they are allowed to the side of our building on Vail Road. This allows you to access the Sebastian Hotel entry area to make use of our nearby 15 min unloading space to drop off your luggage rather than bringing it through the hallway tunnel from the parking garage. Thank you for your input.

Wonderful owner to deal with. Quick on email responses and very friendly. Great condo in a an even better location. Left our skis at a locker rental at Gondola 1 making a quick 5 minute to the lift in the morning. Condo is generously stocked with basics. Clean. Balcony. Flat screen TV with HD. Great view of pedestrian and bus only walkway below as well as mountain. Will stay again upon return

Great Owner

  • 5 of 5

I emailed and talked with Mary extensively when looking for a rental in Vail and, while we ended up going with a different unit because we needed two units in the same complex to accomodate our group size, Mary was very responsive and helpful by email and phone.

I have rented through VRBO before, and you can tell pretty quickly when an owner is going to be easy to work with. Mary responded quickly, took the time to talk through all my questions, and seemed to genuinely love Vail and want to help us have a great trip. When we return with a smaller group I will look at Mary's properties first!

From what I could tell the Vail Village Inn seemed like a great location, reasonable price, with access to a hot tub and the ability to sleep a lot of people in a two bedroom.
