Welcome to our classic new one story cape cod style Beach House located on historic Faria Beach, minutes away from the historic cities of Santa Barbara, Montecito and Ojai, and also conveniently close to Ventura and Carpenteria's classic boardwalk and beach Villages.

The Beach house, upon entry, opens up to an expansive 180 degree view of the ocean coast and Channel Islands. We are unique in that we have a brand new home which is immaculately clean and offers all the modern conveniences such as a gas fireplace in the living room, complimentary wireless internet, a 40' HDTV and CD player, sparkling new kitchen with granite countertops and custom cabinets and central heating which make for a very comfortable beach experience.

Our kitchen has an open floor plan, with floor to ceiling windows that look out to the deck and ocean. It is fully equipped and includes all appliances: stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher, along with all paper and cleaning products and washer and dryer.

The Beach House has three bedrooms. The private master has a king bed with sliding glass doors that take you out to an expansive deck and private hot tub. The second bedroom has two twin beds and the third bedroom has a queen bed with half bath and walk out glass doors to the deck and outside shower.

The large ocean front deck accommodates an outdoor shower, BBQ, hot tub and of course, plenty of space to lay out under the California sun with chaise lounges and table and chairs.

Easy access to the beach/sand is provided by a private stairway from the seawall.

Please note, as per the pictures on the website, that there is not a fence between the Beach House and the seawall. The drop off from the top of the seawall to the sand can range from 10 to 15 feet, depending on the tide.

Unlike some of the local beach houses, our Beach House sits on the white sandy beach, which is accessible at all times, except high tide. In addition, 150 yards down is a public beach (Mondo's), that is white and sandy at all times.

In the fall the sunsets and cloud formations are spectacular, producing one of a kind memories. This is a very rare, new and immaculately clean beach house and A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY! One of the best, highest quality, cleanest beach front home on Faria Beach!

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE HAVE A 5 PERSON MAXIMUM WITHOUT EXCEPTION. Therefore, there can be no gatherings, events, parties, dinners, lunches, BBQ's etc.... beyond this 5 person maximum, at any time during our guests stay. This is strictly enforced in our lease, with a clause whereby the Tenant agrees to the number in the party at the property, at any time during the stay, and if the number exceeds the amount agreed to in the lease, the Tenant acknowledges and agrees that the ENTIRE DAMAGE SECURITY DEPOSIT is subject to loss. In addition, the Tenant agrees that the owner, or owners agent, has the right to come onto the property and shut the event down.

We are sorry to have to be so forceful about this matter, but unfortunately some of our guests have ignored this clause in the lease and have had 'gatherings' beyond the agreed upon number in the lease, causing damage to the property and being a nuisance to our neighbours. If this is your situation, this beach house is not for you.

Our Beach House is a high quality beach house that we do our best to maintain in good condition. One way to do so is to make manage the number in the party and prohibit 'events' at the property. We are also respectful to our neighbors who do not care for events at the home and will let us know immediately if one occurs.

Our Beach House is a unique and rare property intended for those who can appreciate it and appreciate the beach. It is not a house intended for use the use of events or gatherings or groups larger than 5.

Excellent Family Memories

My family and I have been staying at this wonderful Faria beach house for 6 years. We have built wondrous memories out of annual traditions from marathon Monopoly competition to our favorite beach meals and snacks. Our first stay was in September and we experienced a wide variety of weather that made the stay such a unique experience. Since then, we have stayed in October which allows for smooth waters, beautifully comfortable temperatures and amazing sunsets. The accommodations are first class. From the champagne welcome and luxurious linens to the relaxing deck and easy access to the ocean. The expansive view is in every room. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies and makes "being in the kitchen" a joy since the Pacific Ocean is the backdrop. If cooking family meals is not what you want to do on vacation, the wide variety of local eateries are a few minutes away yet, allow you to come back to a retreat that feels miles from hectic life. The walks to the low tide pools are enjoyable for all ages. The surfing activity down the beach is a relaxing entertainment. The spa is comfortably private from the neighboring homes yet the openness of the deck allows for special introductions with other vacationers that have provided some of our special memories. I would highly recommend this property for a cozy get-a-way for two to a fun filled family vacation that will build lasting vacation memories.

Spectacular setting!

Stayed here for a sisters get-away and loved every minute of it. The house looked just like it was advertised (albeit on the small side) and the deck is simply incredible (most of your time will be spent outdoors).

We couldn't have asked for better weather - sunny and warm/hot every day.

Lots of great restaurants/shopping close by. Just an hour or so away from amazing wineries in Santa Ynez. Solvang is a great day trip. I would suggest going up the San Marcos pass but come back on the 101 to make the complete loop.

Favorite restaurants were Lure Fish House (Ventura) and the Padero Beach Grill (Carpenteria). Great views from the outdoor patio at the Biltmore 4 Seasons hotel in Montecito.

The beach was great for afternoon walks when the tide was out. It was fantastic when the tide was in during the evening hours as the water came up onto the deck and the noise was wonderful from the waves.

Although the train goes by several times a day, it was quick and you rarely heard it. Would have liked 2 full bathrooms but we made it work with 4 sisters.

Highly recommend!

Great freeway access halfway between Ventura and Santa Barbara. Less than an hour drive from the Burbank airport.

Simply Fabulous for a Family Getaway!

We had the pleasure of staying for 9 days and just adored the house! I traveled with my 18 month old and 3 year old. The house is very kid friendly if you come prepared. We rented a crib that fit perfectly into the guest bedroom. Bring a baby gate for the the front door as little ones can just open the door even if locked and walk right out onto busy PCH. It worked out very well as we had the door open during the day to let the breeze in and the kids got to see the trains go by through the baby gate. Bring your own sand toys and beach gear. The beach is great to play in the AM with low tide and then head out for a few hours in the afternoon when the tide rolls in and makes the beach disappear.

The kitchen is just divine and has everything you need! It makes you want to cook all the time and enjoy dinner on the patio. The house is very lovely and cozy. You will not be disappointed! Quick drive to Downtown Ventura and Santa Barbara but I doubt you will want to leave. Loved working with Todd and Melanie too :). Can't wait to return next year!

All it was said to be and very much more - Loved this place

We are a couple in our late fifties and were on a road trip from BC Canada to California. After being on the road for almost 11 days and staying at a different hotel every night, we were glad to find this place to stay for a week, Almost from the moment we stepped into this house, it felt like home.

The house was well equipped , we had everything we needed to make this stay a momorable one. We lucked out on the weather the whole week, so got to enjoy the beautiful deck and beach.. I can't think of one thing we needed and did not find. We also loved the area around . Almost everyday, we spent part of the day exploring Ventura, Ojai, Santa Barbara.So far , this has been the highlight of our stay.

Highly recommended place to stay. Will be back again .

Loved This House

My three friends and I just spent 4 days at this adorable beach house. The newly remodeled kitchen and a deck that went on forever provided the best of inside and outside living. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone wanting to spend time in Ventura, CA on the beach!

If you LOVE the ocean, this house is for you!

We had such a wonderful time at this lovely beach house. The location is wonderful, the ocean is in your backyard and the mountains are in your front yard. The house was well appointed with everything we needed. The kitchen and family room are really well done and it makes cooking really fun when you can stare out at the ocean. The house is quiet and relaxing. The hot tub and deck are show stoppers. I would suggested it to anyone staying in the area, so quick to get on the freeway and get anywhere! Geat for couples, or a small family. You'll love it!
