Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a great time in the mountains, and we just loved your cabin. Your cabin was just perfect for our family of four. The mountain view was perfect and the location was nice and private. It was very clean and had everything we needed and more. It was too hot to use the hot tub, but my daughter did get in briefly. We saw around 25 turkey just down the road while driving to Pigeon Forge. We drove through Cades Cove and got to see turkey, lots of deer, coyote, and 7 black bears (including a Mama and 3 baby cubs up close). I know that was my favorite part of the trip! Thanks so much for all your advice and directions. We had a great breakfast at Mel's Diner. When, or if, we come back that way I would love to stay at your cabin again.

Met our needs

  • 4 of 5

We rented this cabin to attend a convention being held at the LeConte Center and wanted something within walking distance of the LeConte. This cabin was a 10 minute walk, if that, to the LeConte. We did walk back from the LeConte after dark and used our flashlights on our phones not only on the road to the cabin, but on Teaster Lane as well. We did not feel unsafe at all walking to and from the center. It is also a short walk - maybe 10 minutes - to the Old Mill District.

Andy gave us lots of information about the area prior to our arrival. The most appreciated info was how to avoid the Parkway Traffic. In addition, his directions to the cabin were easy to follow and particularly appreciated by us with our late evening arrival.

I will mention this in regards to the cabin. It is located on a busier road and so if you are, like us, not accustomed to road noise, you may be bothered by the trucks, buses, and cars.

Owner's Response: We try to let guests know that this cabin is convenient to everything & ha easy access, but doesn't have a view nor the privacy of mountain cabin. If they let us know that a view & privacy is what they want, we refer them to our other 2 bedroom cabin which is on Home Away # 152746 or VRBO # 189535.

Nice place to stay.

  • 5 of 5

I took my 79 year old mother to Pigeon Forge for a 3 day weekend. The cabin was clean and smelled nice when we arrived! Loved the cabin, so convenient and close to everything. We can't wait to go back in the spring, and stay again! Andy the cabin owner was fantastic to work with, and I will definitely rent from him again. Such a great vacation place!

Simple cabin in an Amazing location

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is in the perfect location to enjoy all the sites and sounds of Pigeon the Forge. Located less than a mile from The Island. That's the Amazing part.

The simple aspect of the cabin fit our family perfectly. By simple I mean the cabin meets all the basic needs, but it's not a brand new cabin. The pictures provided by the owner perfectly show the details of this cabin. If your ok with not spending an arm and a leg on an overpriced cabin or condo, then maybe this cabin is for you.

Cozy and Convenient!!!

  • 5 of 5

We just got home from a 5 day stay at this cabin. If you want convenience and coziness...this is the perfect spot. There were 5 of us...4 adults and 1 eleven year old. The beds were so comfortable and my grandson, who slept on the couch, said it was very comfortable as well. While in the cabin, we enjoyed sitting outside on the patio, relaxing in the hot tub and playing pool and air hockey upstairs.

It is very convenient to everything!!! We had planned a trip to Dollywood and Splash Country. This cabin is 5 minutes away from both. It is also just 5 minutes away from the main strip though town, yet off the main road enough to get away from the noise of it all. Andy, the owner, is a great guy and gave us so much information about things to do and places to go. I would definitely stay at his cabin again and would recommend it to others.
