Why The Owner chose Northeast Mountains

A wonderful view, away from the work day stress from Atlanta. We have a beautiful large cabin that is warm and friendly. You can feel the beauty of the mountains.

What makes this cabin unique

This cabin was built for luxury and privacy. Nestled on private acreage that back up to National Forest, you have all the privacy needed. For families the greatest benefit is the 2 full kitchens and finished lower level with pool table, den and Hot tub. So while the adults are enjoying a game on TV or social event, the children have their own TV, and hang out down stairs.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Great family location! Peaceful and quiet but close to everything if you need something. We sooooo enjoyed having the kids graduation party there. Sitting by the firepit roasting marshmellows was the crowd favorite. Wonderful touch having the picnic tables on the deck. That was a breakfast hangout every morning as we enjoyed the unspeakable view!

Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!

25th Anniversary Getaway

  • 5 of 5

I would like to say thank you for allowing us to use your place for such a special occasion. The place is wonderful and peacefully secluded. We love the view, especially in the morning while enjoying a nice cup of coffee. It was so peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Everything we needed was readily available in the house. The wireless service did not work for us while we were there but every efforts were made on their part in attempt to get it to work. Sometime things just happen and no fault on their part. By that being said we really enjoy the stay and thank you for sharing your home with us. We look forward to coming back for another stay.

Thank You,

The Phommaly Family.

Beautiful view and large home!

  • 4 of 5

Upon arrival at the home, we were instantly blown away by the beautiful view! We also were very pleased with the size of the home. The home was very comfortable and clean. The home was also very child friendly, the stairs to the basement were closed off by a door, which is great when you have toddlers walking around :-)

The only cons we had during our stay was that the grill was non-functional (not sure the problem because there was propane in the tank, I think the grill just needs to be replaced). The second con was the heating was sub-par in the master bedroom/bath and the room directly below the master on the basement level. I called Glenda the next day to tell her those rooms were freezing and we needed it addressed because we have babies sleeping in those rooms. She was more than helpful and even brought us heaters for each of those bedrooms, which helped tremendously! I think the heating unit should be checked and heating issues should be addressed.

Thank you, Glenda for your help and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Awesome Cabin with a great view

  • 5 of 5

We, families with young children stayed in the cabin for 3 nights in November.. It was really an awesome experience.. We didn't get bored as there was everything staring from dvds, boardgames etc to pooltable , dart board etc to entertain ourselves.. Glenda, the manager is also nice.. When she came to know we were running out of some supplies she came herself to provide us with those.. We loved everything about this cabin..

Great way to bring in the New Year

  • 4 of 5

We spent a week here over Christmas and New Year and had a very good time. Three generations of family ranging from 23 to 77 years old were here. There was something for everyone, great long range mountain views, fire place pool table, darts, and a hot tub. Plenty of room for everyone. The space in the kitchen was especially nice as several people could be in there without bumping into each other. The large outside deck was also great. Where else could you play cornhole with such amazing views.

Family Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Our family spent Thanksgiving weekend at this cabin. It was beautiful from top to bottom. And plenty roomy for everybody. I don't think I would ever get tired of sitting in the hot tub watching the sun set behind the mountains. After a few conversations with Glenda, the manager, she felt like a friend. Very nice and helpful about everything. We are looking forward to doing it again next year.
