3 bedroom house sleeping 5 people, Tullochard commands loch and mountain views.
About Jack MacFarlane
Flora and Jack look after Tullochard for our friend Christine Dodds who has owned the property for over 20 years. We live on our croft near to Broadford on the Isle of Skye.
Why Jack MacFarlane chose Kyle
As well as sitting in a beautiful glen with views of lochs and mountains, Inverinate is a gateway from which to explore this outstandingly beautiful area of the Highlands and Islands. Floras family originate from Skye and such this area holds a special place in our hearts, many of her childhood holidays were in the family croft house in Breakish. We enjoy the freedom and solitude of the glens, beaches and hills no one walk here is ever the same. The landscape and wildlife are stunning in each of the 4 seasons. We love sharing these with our guests and are always happy to suggest places for you to explore. One of the truly lovely things we have here is the dark night skies, the stars are just amazing, you may even be lucky enough to see the Northern Lights.

Charming, cosy and comfortable holiday home
Tullochard is a cosy, charming holiday home. 2 of the bedrooms are really big, the smaller one on the ground floor is still very comfortable. Great beds, good storage. A large, well equipped kitchen looks out on the loch, the dining room and the living room are very cosy. Loads of books and dads to keep you busy on the raining days. The garden is very nice, quite big and well kept. Across the road, you can buy essentials at the shop in the gaz station. Great service from Jack and Sheila, the house was spic and span when we arrived and they offer a lot of personal support when needed. The house is perfectly situated for great walks and bike rides. Glenelg with its beautiful landscapes is around the corner, we went pony tracking, and took the ferry across to Isle of Skye. There is a great inn there near the barracks as well. A beautiful walk of bike ride away is Dornie with its great castle. And after a 20' ride you're on the bridge to the Isle of Skye, which offers the most beautiful landscapes and experiences. Plockton is also around the corner, a 15' ride, with great restaurants, views and kayacking. Overall, great place!
Thank you for you kind words we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay at Tullochard and made the most of exploring the local Highland landscape.
Kind regards from Jack and Flora
Very good holiday
Very nice stay in this welcoming cottage in a great area.
It is a pleasure to welcome such lovely guests to Tullochard.
