Why Deb Gentry chose Columbia Falls
Located right on the Flathead River, I took advantage of the gorgeous views & seclusion. The cabin is anywhere from 1300 sq ft with custom log features and all the amenities of a fully furnished vacation home. It's proximity to Glacier National Park and central location just outside of Columbia Falls makes it ideal for accessing all the outdoor activities available in Northwest Montana's Flathead Valley.
What makes this Cabin unique
Our guests have told us they really enjoy Cabin on the River because... 1) it's proximity to Glacier National Park, Columbia Falls, Kalispell, Whitefish & Bigfork makes it very convenient. 2) it's located right on the bank of the Flathead River, offering solitude & scenery with views of Flathead River and Glacier National Park. And, 3) it's completely furnished making it a comfortable and economical lodging choice.

The location is ideal for visiting Glacier and activities around the area. There were eight if us in the Middle Fork cabin. We very much enjoyed the setting, especially the outdoor deck. The cabin is in a pretty setting. I would recommend the owners do some miner upgrading. There are not sufficient dishes in the condo and it would be nice if the owner fixed up the trails to the river and mowed some of the vegetation to improve the view. If you plan to work remotely, know that wifi in this area does not work consistently.
Everything we hoped for and then some! Deb and Kirk were extremely friendly and accomodating. We all felt right at home. The cabin was fabulous, the horseback ride exhilarating, and the views...breathtaking. Thanks for a perfect home away from home to make our vacation a success!
We had a great experience at Gentry Ranch - we stayed in the Flathead cabin and it was spacious ad comfortable for our family of 6 which includes 3 teenagers. We visited GNP and Flathead lake but enjoyed coming home to our comfy cabin! We especially enjoyed the deck with the grill! Thank you!!!
This is an amazing cabin, I can't wait to go back.
Gateway to Glacier Park
Our extended family (8 adults and 9 children ages 5 months to 15 years) used the Flathead and North Fork cabins for our trip to Glacier Park. We all agreed it was a perfect spot- 25 minute drive to West Glacier entrance, nearby grocery shopping in Columbia Falls, grassy area between cabins for the kids to play, and a beautiful setting with horses and a mountain backdrop that looks like an advertisement for "Big Sky Country".
Right on the river, and the kids loved it. Owners were very flexible, and the location is close enough to Glacier National Park to enjoy. The cabin itself has everything you need to cook, the bathrooms were perfect, and there's even a little back porch with a gas grill and picnic tables for outdoor awesomeness.
Thanks Dan! It was a pleasure having you stay with us! Come back soon!
Your rental cabin is on Gentry Way (at the West end of Lewis Lane/Badrock Drive), just South of Columbia Falls, located in Northwest Montana’s Flathead Valley. Once on Lewis Lane, continue past the 'Dead End' sign. The “Flathead,” as locals call the valley, lies just west of the Continental Divide in northwest Montana. Gentry River Ranch is a short distance away from Glacier National Park, designated hiking areas, 2 ski resorts, 9 golf courses, Flathead Lake, and Hungry Horse Reservoir. With the abundance of recreational opportunities and aesthetic values, it's not hard to see why the Flathead Valley is among the most popular areas in Montana. Come visit and you’ll see why many visitors return here year after year. A surprisingly mild climate invites you outside all year. Other Activities: Glacier National Park, fishing, hiking, water park
