Overall a good experience.
Overall a good experience. Decor could be updated and sheets could match. It was a very large 3 bedroom with lots of room to sleep way more than 6 people due to the king size beds and twin beds being in the same room. Rules of the building are somewhat strict. Also the check out procedure to wash, dry and fold all towels and sheets was a burden since you pay a maid fee and have to wake up early to finish everything. Gorgeous view but several chairs on the balcony were broken. The owner was very nice and accommodating!

We very much enjoyed out stay at this condo. The place is spacious and clean. The balcony has a wonderful view of the beach. The master bedroom is large with a huge bathroom area. The other two room a smaller, but adequate. The security at the facility is tight. This causes going to and from the beach a little bit cumbersome, but you certainly feel safe. It has been many years since we were in Jacksonville Beach. It has changed drastically since we were last there, but it is a wonderful beach!

Myself and five girlfriends rented this condo for 5 days. Although, we had a fantastic time together, there were a couple hiccups before and during our stay. Check-in seemed to be a very difficult process as we were not driving to the condo, but coming via cab service. Our flights came in around noon and we were out to the condo by 1pm. Check-in was not until 4pm and when requested to store our baggage in the garage, the owner wanted to charge $25.00 hour for this "early checkin". We declined and made other arrangements until check-in. I have rented homes all over the world and have never been asked for additional payment for early bag storage. This kind of put us to bad start. The condo needed a few updates. Decor was a bit outdated and nothing seemed to go together. The blind in the master bed was broken, which the owner had her landscaper come fix which took 4 hours of our time during our stay. He didn't have proper tools and the process was exhausting. Two of the bedrooms had a double bed and a single in each which was extremely tight. Contract states only six guests can stay, so why does the 3 bedroom have room for 8? One guest room had two TVS which neither worked. The shower in one room felt like it was broken and was going to come out of the wall. We could not get the stove to work at all. No manual and when we asked owner how to use, she stated to turn breaker off and back on in ten minutes. Did not work. This sounds like a lot of negativity, which is not the intention. I feel an owner needs to know what items need attention in hopes that future renters can have a bit better experience. We did have a wonderful time and Phyllis was quick to respond to our questions. We do hope to return in the future as location was perfect and hope some repairs and updates will be done for our future stay.
I am 1/2 hour from. Condos. I personally check in each group. I had 2 check ins that day and back to back reservations lots of repeat Rentors I told them I could rearrange maids service and meet them earlier for the 25$ an hour. They did not want But go over and open garage and then come back at 4 to check them in I told them I would be glad to meet them and let them in for the charge. I explained child lock button on stove and just to hold it down if they turned it on by mistake. Cook top was working before them and also after them. I suggested turning breaker off and letting it stay off a few minutes to reset since they did not hold button of child lock on. Last Rentors broke string on blinds since it was weekend I got Handiman to run over and take blinds down so I could fix and he put draperies up He did not bring correct tools so it took longer. This was during day Rentors on balcony overlooking ocean. Me w workman in master bedroom . I tried to remedy as fast as I could
Problem 1: Let the owner talk me into mailing a check, didn't go through VRBO,
Problem 2: A few days before arrival the owner emails me about arrival time. Stated we planned on arriving about 9 pm, Was told that would not work, had to be earlier. Never had an owner demand when we arrive, had part of the party change their travel plans to meet owner on a street corner. The complex apparently does have lock boxes and or the office will not handle guest.
Problem 3: At 5 pm the unit was not ready for occupancy, beds not made, towels not cleaned, maid service had not been there. She offered part of our party 50 off to do the laundry, but no toilet paper either. Dished not put away, with a 150 cleaning fee as out charge they passed and had the maids return. So they arrived at 5 pm as requested but couldn't use the unit.
As other have stated, furniture worn unit, needs TLC, cleaning, there are lights out and lights missing globes, and yes master shower turns off when turned all the on as previous reviews state.
Great view from balcony but first rental from this site not worth the cost or hassle.

Problem 1) The tenant chooses their own payment method
Problem 2) Every Tenant receives a welcome sheet. It clearly states check in time is 4pm. I am happy to accommodate, so I don't think that it is unreasonable for me to ask if any of your party will be able to check in earlier than 9pm. I was happy to let your guests into the property at 5 pm. but when they called and said they would be at condo at 4, and so I came earlier .
Problem 3) I agree and I am very sorry that the unit was not ready upon arrival. the cleaning crew of 6 is hired to clean the unit and are instructed to do so prior to next occupancy. I had the unit cleaned immediately.. I personally drove your guests to a local seafood restaurant, so they could start enjoying their vacation while they waited the for the unit to be prepared.
I am glad the view from the balcony was enjoyable to you and your guests. but I am sure that your fight with the onsite building manager about double parking to unload on entrance ramp in violation of signs posted there and also stated in rules which you signed did not help.
