About Angela Jones at Salemstays.com
My name is Angela Jones, I grew up and have lived in Salem for the majority of my life. It is my home and I am so excited to share it with visitors! I have twin boys Max and Sam, who I am currently using my vacation rentals income to help put them both through college! My boys are my world, and I am proud of both of them. I am also an Arbonne Independent Consultant. Arbonne provides pure, safe and beneficial health and beauty products. Our products are made for those that don't want to use harsh chemicals and want true results in their health and their looks! As I got closer to having to start paying for my boys college, I decided to launch my vacation rental business with my Downtown Salem Loft. a 2400 sq ft "New York Style Loft" Apartment in the oldest historical building in downtown Salem. I quickly realized this was my nitch, I was great at hosting guests and providing beautiful, affordable lodging in our Capitol City and Greater Willamette Valley and so it began. My vacation rental company is SalemStays. Currently I have 7 vacation rentals in Salem, 1 In Independence Oregon towards the coast and wine country and 1 in Stayton Oregon on the trail to Silver Falls State park and the Oregon Gardens! I love the hospitality business and supplying guests with beautiful, comfortable, and usable spaces to stay in for a much more reasonable price than staying in a hotel. I love to get to know all my guests and to make new connections. I hope you stay with me if you ever come to Salem OR or the Greater Willamette Valley.

Why Angela Jones at Salemstays.com chose South Central
The interior of the house is 1950’s meets Timberline Lodge. Once you enter the house from the back porch, you will see that though it’s a small house (625 square feet), it lives large. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The Corian countertop bar has seating for 2 and the kitchen is open to the living area. In the living area, lounge on the sofa or read a good book in the Eames chair. The side table can be pulled out and the two office chairs can be used for a sit down meal. Or use the white nesting tables and eat while watching Netflix. The office is also a perfect place to relax on the sofa bed, reading a book while having a cup of tea. While restoring the house, the original wood was uncovered, cleaned and oiled, then accented with crisp white moldings. The bathroom has a large old iron tub, deep and perfect for soaking.Right outside the bathroom in the office area is a perfect sitting area to put on makeup or do your hair. Put the top down and it’s a great workspace for your laptop. The office also has a closet for your clothes. In the bedroom, there is a comfortable queen size bed with nightstands on either side. If you have an Android phone, there is a charging pad for your phone. The room also has a ceiling fan and blackout curtains. There is extra storage in a vintage wood cabinet.Right outside the bedroom is a stackable washer and dryer.
What makes this house unique
The backyard is totally fenced in and there is a huge evergreen tree that creates great shade in the summer. If you bring your bikes, let the host know and she will give you a key to the shed to keep your bikes secure. Sit on the back porch in the Adirondack chairs. The neighborhood is quiet, friendly and safe. Neighbors look out for each other. It’s the perfect house for getting ready to get married, for honeymooning, for a professional who needs a quiet sanctuary, or as a base camp to explore the Pacific NorthWest. Portland is a little over an hour away as is the Pacific Ocean. Hike Silver Falls, or take the Amtrak train which has a station within 2 miles and has free parking. Go to Seattle for a day or two and then come back to your Salem base camp, The Where’s Waldo Wood Cabin.
