“Sea Tulip” , Surf City, Long Beach Island, N.J.

This newly decorated four bedroom, two bath home named “Sea Tulip” is located eight houses from the beach with no streets to cross. It is also walking distance to shops, markets, restaurants and other services. The house features a beautiful fenced in yard which is great for the kids and dog.

YES! We accept small dogs. The Fenced in yard also features a canopied deck, an outside SHOWER , gas grill, lounge furniture, large picnic table and hammock.

The house sleeps 8-10 in it’s four bedrooms, plus there is an additional front room with sofa bed and chair bed for added guests ,. A newly renovated kitchen with granite counter tops and center island is fully equipped and adjacent to a full dining room and living room. The house is air conditioned and every room has a ceiling fan for additional comfort. THIS IS A NON SMOKING HOUSE

While the house is Not officially handy cap equipped there is a wheel chair ramp to the first level and a main floor bedroom and bathroom . There is also handicap access to the beach with no streets to cross.

There are Five TVs, three DVDs, and a broadband Internet connection.

Rental includes a few bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, towels, linens, washer and dryer including laundry detergent and other supplies so you don’t have to empty your house and fill the car to enjoy your vacation. We supply everything except the Dog and the K cups for the Keurig

Great house, very well equipped, nice owner. Excellent location close to the Causeway, beach, and great restaurants. Would definitely stay again. Quiet block, a great house for us and our dog. Fenced yard, which was nice for our pet.

Fabulous Find for a Family and Pet

Wow! Did our family of 4 adults, 2 small children and 1 beagle, luck out with the Sea Tulip!

Not only was the house on the beach block, but there was a traffic light at the corner of N. 19th Street and the Boulevard, making it simple and SAFE to cross over when walking or turning left when driving.

The house offered plenty of beds and our almost 2 year old grandson slept in the full-sized crib stored in an upstairs bedroom closet, so we didn't have to rent one.

Towels, bedding, beach necessities (cart, chairs, umbrellas, toys) were all there and so was a washer and dryer, which was used daily.

Tableware and silverware, along with sturdy plastic glasses met our needs well, as did the gas grill and dish washer.

There was plenty of room inside and out for the children to play safely and for the adults to sit around and relax, especially on the back covered deck and the yard with its hammock and patio seating.

A general market, many restaurants, ice cream shops, gift shops and much more were within a short, 3 block distance of the house and made for a really casual vacation.

However, if you really want to know what the best part of this experience was, it had to be dealing with the owner, Mike. No questions or details about the house and surrounding areas were left unanswered in a very timely fashion. He's a fabulous owner who takes great pride in his Surf City home and is kind enough to share it with those lucky enough to rent it.

The Sea Tulip is an all around winner.

Great House, great location!

We rented the Sea Tulip in August 2014 and had a great family vacation! It was the first time we used VRBO to rent and it turned out to be a great experience because of the owner, Mike. We have always loved LBI but wanted to try Surf City since we have spent most of our time on the south side of the Island. We loved the outside deck area and the proximity to everything. We barely used our car. Our week at the Sea Tulip convinced us to buy a place in Surf City which we just did!!!

Wonderful LBI house

My wife and I, plus our two sons (ages 15 and 16) stayed at the Sea Tulip for a week (July 2014). The house is immaculate, fully stocked with anything you might need, and the owner, Mike, could not be more helpful and pleasant to work with. House is a short walk to the beach, garage has chairs, bicycles and even some toys if you have little ones. Our small dog came with us, and she loved the backyard and walks around the block. If you like seafood, try Boulevard Clams one short block from the house. I've rented in LBI before, and this experience was by far the most enjoyable we've ever had. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a great family getaway.

Perfect location-close to beach, restaurants and shops. Great amenities--excellent outdoor patio for dining and entertaining including gas grill, fully equipped kitchen, laundry, and bedding provided. Owner provided helpful information about the area.

The Sea Tulip is wonderful. It feels like you're at home with all the comforts that go along. The kitchen is fully stocked, plenty of linens provided, garage filled with your beach needs, washer and dryer, even dog bowls!! Our pup loved the fenced in yard. Mike was great to work with as we booked this last-minute getaway. Anything you need is only steps away - beach, shopping, dining, sunsets over the bay - it was very relaxing. We highly recommend this place!
