This was our first time to vacation in Estes Park. We choose this cabin because it was more secluded and for the views!!! Didn't have to worry about traffic at the cabin and we sat outside alot and relaxed looking at the town below us. We had chipmonks running around and some beautiful colored birds. While driving in the neighborhood below us we saw deer and elk grazing in yards! The only think that would make it better is get a more comfortable sofa.
We had a great stay at the cabin on top of the hill. The beds were great and clean. The views were the best. It was also great not being right next to the neighbor. It was close to town with only a couple minute drive to down town. We go to Estes once a year and i will be booking this cabin each time.
As a repeat visitor to the Flower Lane cabin, we found it to still be as charming as before. Plenty of room and well equiped for a comfortable stay. The view is amazing, not to mention how vivid the stars are in that location! Thank you Pine Creek for another delightful experience at this cabin.
We had a wonderful vacation. The views were fantastic and we really did have elk walk by the house. Even though the house was very private, we were close to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.
My husband and I spent one week in this wonderful cabin, which accommodated other visiting family twice during the week. The beds were hard-but-comfortable and we slept well. The only negative is that we ran out of gas for the grill just before the grass-fed beef ribeyes were to be put on, but finished them up on the oven broiler. . . Gorgeous views, much to love here.
The cabin was just as described in the listing--close to town but nice and quiet. Beautiful views and sunrises! It was very clean upon arrival and had plenty of bathroom & bedroom linens and kitchen supplies. Previous guests or the owners have stocked the basics well (salt & pepper, spices, flour, sugar, etc.). We arrived in Estes a little earlier than expected, and a simple phone call to the property manager allowed us to check in ahead of schedule--very nice for kids who needed naps. I would definitely recommend this cabin to others and will stay here again if we visit EP. Of course it would be nice to have a washer/dryer or dishwasher, but we knew what to expect and it really wasn't a problem for us. The bedrooms were good sized and there's a door that can close the bedroom hallway off from the living area--nice for people with different bedtimes. Our kids loved playing at the 2 picnic areas and scrambling up & down the hillside. The cabin was bigger than I expected. We had some friends join us for dinner one evening and we weren't cramped at all.
We spent a good deal of time in RMNP--about 20 minutes away, but we also took a short 10 minute drive to Lily Lake and hiked there. Our kids also loved playing in the river that runs through downtown. There is a nice plaza area just off the main street in downtown that was great for playing, eating ice cream, etc.
