This bright apartment is superbly located in the most sought-after area of Madrid. Sitting near the corner of Claudio Coello and Ayala, the apartment is situated in the very heart of barrio Salamanca, the most elegant and upmarket of all of Madrid’s neighbourhoods. Calle Serrano - often considered as the city’s answer to New York’s 5th Avenue – is just a stone’s throw away, and is home to a host of designer stores, stylish boutiques and great restaurants and cafes. The impressive Plaza Colon and historic National Library are just a short walk away. The area boasts good transport connections with several metro stations and bus stops all close by, while the nearby "Paseo de la Castellana" leads onto some of the city’s top sights and attractions, including the art deco, famous "Gran Via" strip and the “Big Three” art museums. The apartment itself is characterised by its beautiful open-plan living space that incorporates two separate sitting rooms that can be left open for a sense of space. Alternatively, the sliding doors can be used to create a third bedroom, as the sofa pulls out into a comfortable bed for two. The fully-equipped modern kitchen is situated directly off the living room and is spacious enough to fit a dining table for six. Large and bright, the master bedroom has its own small living area which includes a sofa-bed for two people – ideal for children or additional guests. The second bedroom has been decorated in keeping with the rest of the property and each of the three bathrooms has been fully renovated in a traditional style, with clean lines and white tiling. Furnished with quality pieces throughout and with a fantastic location in the barrio Salamanca, this is an excellent choice for a holiday in the Spanish capital.

The entrance leads into a spacious living / dining area furnished with an elegant 3-seater leather sofa with side tables on both sides, 2 cream-colored single armchairs, 2 footstools that can also be used as seating, a wooden center table, and a flat-screen TV with a DVD player. Adjacent to the living room is the first of three bedrooms with 2 large French windows the lead onto balconies. This room is furnished with a desk, reading chair, coffee table and a sofa-bed for 2 (1.40m x 2.00m). This room can be closed off from the living room thanks to a large sliding wooden door. It has an additional door that also connects to the second bedroom next door which is furnished with 2 single beds (0.90 x 2.00m), bedside tables and a reading chair. This room also has a walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The main bedroom is found at the back of the apartment and is furnished with a queen sized bed (1.60, x 2.00m), bedside tables, a desk, and a flat-screen TV. The master suite has a small lounge area furnished with a reading chair, breakfast table for 2, a coffee table and a sofa-bed for 2 (1.40m x 2.00m). This area is open-plan and is not separated from the main bedroom. The master suite has a large walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The open-plan kitchen is located in the heart of the property right next to the living room. It is equipped with a refrigerator / freezer, a 4-ring ceramic hob (stove), microwave, oven, dishwasher and a stunning wooden table that seats 6. There is a separate area off the kitchen with a washing machine and dryer. A door off this section of the apartment leads into the third of the apartment's bathrooms. It is equipped with a shower. There is wooden flooring throughout the property except in the bathrooms, which are tiled.

Fantastic Experience, Highly Recommended

We recently stayed in this rental as a family of 5 and absolutely loved it! It easily accommodated our family. The unit itself is very nicely decorated with beautiful furnishings. The apartment is close to a train station and central Madrid sites but is also located in a beautiful, safe and quiet tree-lined neighborhood with plenty of high-end shops and great restaurants. Check-in/out was very easy and the HomeClub staff were extremely helpful.

I would like to highlight the fantastic service of Karla O, our Concierge Specialist, who went out of her way to make us dinner reservations and gave us other personalized recommendations for our stay in Madrid. She also went way beyond our expectations by making recommendations for Barcelona, which was our next stop. Thank you to HomeClub and our concierge Karla for making our Madrid visit so memorable! We look forward to returning soon!

Surprisingly Impressed!

A very well appointed apartment in the heart of Salamanca! Very nicely decorated and layout of the apt is PERFECT for families. Master is separated from the rest of the rooms. The large table in the kitchen is perfect for dinners. No details were left out. I have recommended this apt to the rest of my family members that will be visiting soon.

An absolutely stunning apartment, if not the noise

We found the apartment's design beautiful, with all amenities one would need.

The location is fabulous, in the heart of Salamanca and walking distance to everything.

One of the bedrooms (at the back) is nice, spacious and quiet, however, the front rooms are super noisy.

There seems to be no noise-isolation in the windows whatsoever and everything from a busy street outside(deliveries, rubbish collection, never-ending stream of motorbikes) trickles in non-stop.

Lovely apartment

This is a lovely apartment in a great location in Madrid. The apartment is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The kitchen has everything you need and there is a very nice Carrefour Supermarket just around the corner. should you not want to wait for restaurants to open in the evening! Mihai who met us and showed us round the apartment is extremely helpful and responded very quickly to the couple of questions we sent by text.

Madrid is a great city. I would definitely recommend the walking tour we took (OgoTours). Otherwise the Prado, Reina Sofia, Thyssen-Bornemisza, Royal Palace are all fantastic.
