In the summer months a ferry runs across the estuary to the nearby village of Appledore a traditional fishing village which makes a great place to spend the evening sampling the fare in the restaurants and pubs. Other attractions within a short drive of the property include The Big Sheep adventure park Northam Burrows Country Park and the two-mile wide sandy beach at Westward Ho! Outside there is a patio garden with steps leading up to a raised decked area which has garden furniture perfect for enjoying drinks in the sun. There is roadside parking available as well as a car park at the school opposite the property.
