A great stay
A really nice place to stay close to the station and all amenities.
We stayed at Gary’s flat for a week in July 2019 and really enjoyed it. Gary was the perfect host, he responded to our messages right away. Our check-in / out process was simple and went smoothly. Gary provided detailed directions to the property and very clear arrival instructions. The information manual was the best I've ever seen. The flat is spotless, really well equipped and very comfortable. Location is great 2 minutes to East Croydon station and with free parking on site. We would definitely stay again if in the area.
An amazing property
By far this has been the best property I have stayed in. Although I didn't get to personally meet Gary, he was very attentive to all my needs and responded fairly quickly to any of my concerns.
The property is so beautiful inside and out and not to mention how close it is to the train station which makes it easier to travel anywhere. The grocery store is nearby as well. Everything is walking distance. I will definitely recommend thus property once again and if I ever return back to the UK, this is a place I wouldn't mind staying again.
Thank you Gary for allowing us to stay in your amazing beautiful property and for all your help.
This Property was exactly as described and very clean. Communication with the owner was exceptional. He gave very clear cut directions for check-in and use of facilities and always responded promptly.
Perfect For Our Visit
We are an American family of 4. We spent one week in England. This was the perfect location for us. We took the train into London one day, and also drove to castles and stately homes that were just an hour or two away. We wanted to stay forever! :)
Pros: The home had everything we needed. We prepared almost all of our meals at home. There is a Tesco and a Costco close by. The home was very comfortable and beautiful. The fridge was much larger than we expected. I loved that the washer and dryer were separate. There were plenty of organized spaces for us to really settle in and be comfortable. It was very clean. We were always able to park just behind the building, so at the end of a long day of sight-seeing, we didn't have to walk far. The owner/contact person was available every time we had a problem. He was very accessible and helpful. Entry to the property was very easy. We were emailed very good directions and access codes.
I was a little worried that being so close to the train, the noise would wake us up a night, but it didn't. Granted, we were not in the flat for most of the day, but when we were, noise was never a problem.
Cons: You will see graffiti, litter, and big city life in the surrounding streets. You will smell inner city smells. (These are cons for me because I live in the country. If you are a city dweller, it won't be any big deal.) There was a poster inside the building warning visitors of "anti-social" behavior in the area and asking them to be careful not to let anyone tailgate into the building. The notice was a little concerning, but we never saw, heard, or experienced any problems. Also, the bedroom door is glass, which created a little bit of a privacy issue, since our children were just sleeping out on the sofa bed.
One little note for Americans, if the dryer isn't drying well, empty the water reservoir on the top left of the machine. :)
I would definately stay here again if we have the opportunity.
Great apartment, exceeded expectations
Excellent apartment, very well equipped, with good views. Best apartment information pack I've found, and easy to contact manager for assistance. Parking is good, and the train, if you get the right one, is only 15 minutes into London Victoria or London Bridge. A few minutes walk to shops for groceries, ten minutes for high street shopping.
