Have a Beautiful Day~ Cheryl, Cottage Manager (Nov 2, 2012)
Having grown up and lived on Kauai I never thought I could live anywhere but next to the ocean, but Flagstaff has changed my mind. Living and working in beautiful Northern Arizona is every bit as wonderful as Hawaii. The Grand Canyon, the Colorado River, Sedona, the Colorado Plateau, and so many other world class attractions are all right next door. This wonderful vacation rental home in historic downtown Flagstaff is truly a precious gem and we are very proud to be able to share it with you. It is a great home base from which to explore, or a place just to kick back and relax. I hope you enjoy all that Flagstaff and Northern Arizona have to offer and that you'll want to keep coming back! Great location. Historic house. Some quirks, like old creaky floors.......which arent great after kids go to sleep or if you are a light sleeper. Otherwise, walk to town was easy and dog and kids enjoyed the yard and house. Would consider when back in Flagstaff.
Our two kids and pups enjoyed the Fall weather at this adorable cottage! The highlight of the stay was the tree in the front yard. The kids spent two days sweeping the leaves on the lawn, making piles, jumping, decorating the porch with the leaves, and talking and meeting all the locals that walked by. The house is clean, comfortable, and has an awesome backyard! Our pups enjoyed it too! Thanks, Cheryl!
We stayed in The Grant Cottage this past weekend. Cheryl was so easy to work with and had great communication. We loved the cottage and our dog loved the fenced back yard. The location is great being so close to downtown. The house is in beautiful condition and we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back for future stays!
We weren't able to stay at the beautiful cottage due to unforeseen circumstances but I can say that Cheryl was extremely gracious and wonderful to work with! She was beyond understanding and was a delight to talk to on the phone. I wish we could of stayed the night and I'm sure it would have been beautiful.
The Grant Cottage is a lovely, cozy abode to enjoy the cool pines and all that Flagstaff has to offer. The furnishings are beautiful, loved the Sticklee furniture! We will return next summer!
I love staying at Grant Cottage! My family has made lots of memories there. It's comfy, cozy, clean, quaint and close walking distance to downtown. The beds are comfortable, love the kitchen and the backyard is beautiful! I can't wait till my next visit!
