In February 2014 the following updates were made: three brand new queen size beds (Simmons beautyrest) mattresses installed to replace king and queen beds, new pots and pans, new 20 inch plasma tv wall mounted in double queen bed room, and new flat top oven/stove installed.

Coming soon: new railing for outside steps, new furniture for double queen bed room, new windows, and new patio set.

A week in June at OC, MD.

As promised, this charming spot provided a relaxing and safe venue for a wonderful family beach vacation. Not only is this a clean, spacious and well- maintained unit on the water, it is quiet and very serene. Loved the view from the deck. Convenient wick jaunt to the beach with safe crosswalks. Highly recommended location for a family or group of friends to enjoy a week at the beach.

great time again

Such a great time yet again! This is our second year we've been down to this unit and we will continue to come back. It's in a great location, 2 minute walk to the beach and right behind food lion and other gas stations where you can get anything you need. Both an indoor and outdoor pool which was great for those days you don't want to go to the beach. Eric is great to deal with, as he made everything flow so smooth with booking and such. When we got there the grill was out of propane and with a quick phone call to eric he had the issue resolved so fast! We had a group of 6 total and the unit accommodated us very well! Perfect location! Perfect place! Perfect vacation! Thank you eric for another great and memorable year, we will definitely see you again next year!!!

Great time!!!

We went down in late june for a week. Everything was acurate as described, loved the location so close to wawa and foodlion. Room itself was great too, we had a blast and eric was great with answering our questions. A definite will return great trip great memories before our friends go overseas...thank you eric!

Arrived at the unit on June 14th. I went into the palm room in the bathroom, it smelled like rotten fish and vomit. There were flies coming out of the bathroom. The next day I went back into the bathroom and found the mats were soaking wet. I had to clean the bathroom in order for us to use it. the bed in the palm room had no mattress cover searched around and found one in a closet and used that. the pull out couch only had a mattress cover on it. the mattress cover on the pull out did not fit properly at all. Dish washer backed up into sink. Food from previous renter had to be plunged out of the sink by us. Went to go to the indoor pool. Found out that the pool wasn't inspected and we couldn't use it for our stay. When I went to wash to smelly mats, there was a load of clothes from previous renters in the washer. Tried to dry the clothes but dyer wouldn't turn on. Contacted the owner, he told us electrician would be sent out in a few days. The electrician said it was breaker box and needed to get parts. But the dryer wouldn't' be fixed till after our stay. the entire stay we had to do small loads of wash and hang them on the deck to dry. Top part of stairs is missing nails on the side. Which caused my grandson who is 2 1/2 years old to trip and fall.We followed the contract to the letter but the owner did not. He was very helpful for getting the television to work in the living room. We couldn't get WiFi because they told us the couldn't with a private owner. We feel that some sort of compensation should be given due to the fact we spend the vacation cleaning the condo. We did appreciate that the owner called us back every time we did call him.

Owner's Response: My apologies for the problems you encountered during your stay. It appears that 90% of your complaint is due to an unsatisfactory cleaning. We do expect that visitors call us immediately if the cleaning is unsatisfactory and not to clean the property themselves. Our cleaning company will return and properly clean. It's extremely important to call us and provide our cleaners with the opportunity to re-clean as sometimes due to their busy schedules cleanings might be missed entirely. June is early in the season and many cleaners hire seasonal staff who are not familiar with the location and might miss the clean entirely. I could in effect get billed for a cleaning that did not occur and the cleaning company's management would not know that their staff missed a clean. So contacting the owner is a must if the cleaning is unsatisfactory. I will also attempt to answer the other issues you posed: Mattresses were brand new and just replaced, so the mattress covers hadn't been placed yet. Pull out in the living room has a mattress cover and futon cover. If you do not pull off the futon cover, the pull out will not extend all the way. All dishwashers back up into sinks if you don't run the garbage disposal first to clear out all debris. Again this sounds like a cleaner issue. The indoor pool had just been remodeled and the bottom of the pool had to be repaired due to tree root damage. The condo association had to wait several weeks for the Ocean City inspector to arrive. The Town of OC does not provide an inspection date and the pool could not be used until inspected by law. We personally could not use the pool for 9 months during the winter. This was beyond our control. We did have a problem with the dryer and it turned out it was a faulty switch in the electrical box that had to be repaired (after much trouble shooting). This too was beyond our control as well. We inspected the top part of the stairs and that looked fine. There is no WiFi. We provided you with compensation for the dryer problem. Again, my apologies for the problems you encountered during your stay. We strive to maintain our property in top notch condition. Thank you.

My husband and I usually stay on the beach but decided to try something a little better on the budget. We chose Club Ocean Villas based on location and amenities. We were very pleased with the appearance of the condo from the outside. The grounds were very clean and well kept. The condo was an end unit which I liked. The condo was very clean and included all the conveniences of home. Each BR was a good size. Overall very impressed and happy with our stay. Will add this to our list of go-to places to stay. Good price, clean, and good location.
