We have spent more than 25 years living and visiting Kauai. We still spend much of our time at Pu'u Poa #306 and enjoy sharing our Hawaiian home with others when we are off island.

Why Eden & Jennifer Kim chose Princeville

We chose Pu'u Poa #306 because of the location and that wide open ocean view! The Pu'u Poa development is the only one of it's kind on the island. Located next to the premier hotel on the island --- Perched atop an ocean bluff overlooking Bali Hai and the Pacific. We have 2 full walls of view along the front of the condo showing nothing but beautiful shades of blue ocean. And, the view is pretty close to the same from side windows in the kitchen. #306 is also angled so that nice trade winds pass thru and the hot sun does not bear down on this unit so it is always pleasant.

What makes this condo unique

When we arrive on island, we seldom leave the condo. The view is wonderful, we enjoy cooking and grilling on the lanai while listening to some nice island music and you never know how crowded the island is while here. Because we have lived here for years and still spend extended time here, we offer amenities and personal touches not found in any other vacation property.

We cannot imagine a more beautiful place to stay. Mahalo!

We were honored to share our honeymoon with all the humpback whales right off the lanai. We saw the best breach while were were playing pool.

Hiking the NaPali coast to the waterfall was a once in a lifetime experience. We are really going to miss this place.

P.S. A few minutes after we wrote this, a group of 40 or 50 dolphins gave us a nice show jumping out of the water & spinning....

What a Kaua'i jewel and not a rough one at all!

Let me paint the picture we had going for us around December 14, 2008. We arrived in Kauai and checked out another property we were to stay in for December 29. That other facility had changed management and had stopped renovations and the units were extremely sub par. Because we had some health issues we were dealing with we needed to make sure we had a place that was up to par. So, we scrambled to find another location that could house us and make new reservations.

Enter Stage Left...this Pu'u Poa unit via a pretty tight search criteria we had to run on the homeaway site. There were two properties basically that came up and we were fortunate to contact and be contacted back quickly by these owners (yes over the holiday season).

Outside of being extremely informative about the unit and understanding of our need to jump on something quickly, they allowed us the opportunity to visit the facility and just confirm all was copacetic (sp?).

The property manager was there and the owner was kind enough to give them a heads up that we were coming and allowed us to go and see the unit. It was a jewel. I kid you not. A real jewel.

What the pictures show exactly was what I saw, and more!

We confirmed our stay and looked forward to the 29th of December coming up. When we checked in the unit was immaculate and in great shape.

We had been precontacted about one appliance glitch (easily accomodated by another simple appliance on the way). The unit is spectacular. The view astounding. The peace and quiet and friendliness of the owners and other vacationers and the property manager himself, was just the icing on the cake for us.

We loved our stay. We are indeed coming back. Everything that they indicate is an amenity is one that we enjoyed and made use of...and let me say this clearly....You DO NOT need air conditioning. There are enough trade/cross winds passing through the unit that you are always left feeling cool. One evening I actually had to put a sweater and socks on.

The owners show real care and concern for you and have thought of many things to make your stay feel like you are at home but more than at home.

They definately offer great suggestions and feedback. You don't feel like you've rented and then are left stranded if you don't know the island or what to do.

Everything was great. Best was the view, people, pool, location, comfort and the niceties: tv, audio, outdoor speakers, etc.

Great location, Hawaii is the best!

This condo has a little work that needs to be done that the owners are aware of and are taking care of. They were extremely accommodating and helpful messaging back and forth before and after our stay and you cannot get a better location in the north shore than this! Just an FYI to anyone booking in 2018, the pool on property is currently closed until ~April and we did not know when we booked. Definitely check with Eden & Kim if that is a priority for you although there are many beaches nearby.

Stunning panoramic ocean view! Well appointed excellent condo!

We've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and this one was by far the best equipped. It offered the perfect base for all our vacation activities with all the comforts of home. The condo has been updated and has an open/spacious feel. We would definitely stay there again.

This property is lovely, in a prime section of Princeville. Everything was high quality, well-maintained and clean. The apartment is also well stocked with basic staples, a very nice courtesy. Absolutely no complaints.

Beautiful view, perfect location.

Delightful property. Perfect location next to St. Regis and Hideaway Beach. Very comfortable. Had good starter kit of supplies. The only issue was the design of the condos themselves: voices carry very loudly in the stairwells. The majority of the individuals here are renters, who are ignorant of the rules. Check-in was very easy. Would definitely come again. Mahalo.

Exceeded Expectations

We (2 couples) stayed here for 5 nights in early March 2017. This perfectly located condominium exceeded our expectations. The online descriptions and pictures were accurate but didn’t really capture the fabulous view and the spacious, well-stocked condo. The residence was modern, quiet, clean, neat and comfortable. The owners stock nearly all the amenities in ample quantities.

It’s also very convenient to several beaches, Hanalei, good restaurants, an outstanding boat trip to the Na Pali Coast, and even grocery shopping. We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this property to any Kauai visitor.
