We have chosen Vallarta as our home away from home. Vallarta is a great place, the local people are extremely friendly, the weather is incredible and restaurants are superb. It's a little taste of Europe right in your own backyard. With the US$ dollar so strong it's even more amazing value for money. Tough to beat a better place in the sun!

What makes this condo unique

Safe and secure but in the heart of the vibrant and funky "REAL" old town of Vallarta. If you are looking for a holiday with a true "Mexican feel" but with all the comforts of home this is the place. The best part about the unit is the two very spacious terraces, one with the bar-b-q and bar fridge and dining table and the other terrace has comfy couches and chairs. We sit on the terrace, re-live the days adventures and watch the sunset over the ocean every evening. Then it's off for dinner at one of the many fabulous restaurants within walking distance. Another perfect day in paradise! 3 generous bedrooms with 3 full bathrooms gives 6 people lots of room to spread out and enjoy.

Dawn, the owner, was incredibly helpful before we left for our vacation, sending us information about restaurants, activities and taxis, and answering any questions we had. All of her recommendations were wonderful! This home sits right on the beach, with a large patio that overlooks both the ocean, the river and the pool. The views were stunning! We were treated to brilliant sunsets every evening. The pool and grounds are impeccably kept--beautiful and very clean, and the security staff were all very friendly and helpful. Being in the heart of the Old Town was also ideal. Amazing restaurants and shops were all just a short walk away. We definitely plan to return both to Puerto Vallarta and Casa En La Playa.

Perfect Location

I have been to Puerto Vallarta several times and stayed in a few different locations. In my opinion there isn’t a better location. You are in walking distance to everything. Great restaurants, shopping, the Malecón and amazing views. We are pool people and I haven’t seen a better pool in PV. If you love the beach, it is just steps away. Overall, an amazing experience and a beautiful condo, clean, safe, well equipped and absolutely beautifully maintained grounds. Thanks so much for everything Dawn and Stan, we loved it!!

Absolutely gorgeous!

We enjoyed our visit to PV very much. The condo was more than expected with everything one would need on vacation. The building was easy to get around and was very secure. Loved all the restaurants in walking distance. Only disappointing factor is the pool doesn't get sun until late afternoon. Hope to go back some day to enjoy it again!

The Ideal Condo in the Ideal Location

We very much enjoyed Dawn and Stan’s Casa en la Playa—located in the most ideal location in Puerto Vallarta—right on the beach, right on the Malecón, and right in the center of town. The 8th floor unit at Molino de Agua, the most luxurious condo on the Malecón, provides great views of town, the ocean, and Vallarta’s spectacular sunsets. Plus, “Casa” overlooks Molino’s fantastic pool and wonderfully manicured grounds, which looked like a spa to us. The view from the balcony is just spectacular—ocean to the left, our Lady of Guadalupe church to the right, and Old Town right in the middle. It’s all there! Great restaurants and entertainment options are easily within walking distance. Cabs are readily available right out front, but we found we were able to easily walk everywhere we wanted to go.

Casa itself is spacious and well-appointed, offering the necessities experienced travelers expect in order to feel well at home and ready to enjoy all that Puerto Vallarta offers. One of the “features” of Casa that we really enjoyed was the nice flow-through breeze from the master bedroom to the balcony. At night, when the mountains and surrounding land cool, the ocean creates a wonderful breeze that refreshes after an evening walk and helped us drift off to sleep at night. Not all condos in Vallarta have such great ventilation, so we really appreciated Casa! Of course, there are ceiling fans everywhere and central air, but we found we didn’t need the AC at all!

Everything related to the condo was as advertised or better. The property management team and the staff at Molino are completely professional, giving that “concierge experience” one associates with high-end accommodations. Check-in and check-out were seamless, better than what we’ve experienced at some high-end hotels. The property management team, as well as Dawn and Stan, were accessible and available to answer our questions, and the housekeeper was efficient and friendly.

We found Casa en la Playa to be an ideal rental for us. We are already making plans to return and definitely hope to be able to stay in Casa en la Playa again!

Best property in Puerto Vallarta, hands down!

Well, 6 of us went to PV for the first time. It was a great week. We had a blast. The Molino De Agua property is really 5 star. The location is the premiere spot to be in, and the security and privacy you feel when you are inside the gated property is great. The layout of the unit was great. Very spacious, and very modern with great amenities. The views from the double balcony into the Bay were stunning and watching the fireworks from the balcony was awesome. I would never stay anywhere else if I went to PV again. The location right on the Malecon was unreal. Access to everywhere you want to go was right out the door of the property or within the distance of a $3 cab ride. Dawn was very attentive to our needs before we went on the trip, providing us with all the great information on things to do, and restaurants etc. The staff at Molino de Agua was also at the level of a top hotel. Very accommodating and helpful in all areas. The place is great for kids of all ages, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering a PV vacation! Thanks Dawn for an amazing condo and great hospitality!

Amazing vacation!

Everything here was perfect: the location, accommodations, the pool, being right in town. We came on a family vacation with our two young children and everything exceeded our expectations. The condo has everything we could have wanted. It was private, secure, peaceful and spacious. We spent many hours by the pool and on the beach. We were close to great restaurants. When we come back, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you, owners for sharing your home!

This place is beyond beautiful and the photos don't do it justice. Spacious, very open concept with incredible views of the ocean, old town and boardwalk. Excellent location, all the amenities and comforts that you could desire and the best bed I have ever slept in! Extremely friendly and helpful staff and who could forget the infinity pool!
